Once I woke up and got up, I sent a foggy email to the office explaining I might not make it in. After the seizure, I had my typical aftermath of a giant migraine and extreme exhaustion/tiredness. Both Chera (paralegal) and Chris (attorney) emailed me and called me several times, of which I slept through. Then I heard a doorbell ring and a bunch of loud knocking at my door. I woke up and then heard the phone ringing. I answered it. It was Chera letting me know that my attorney was at my door to make sure I was okay, alive, and seeing if I needed medical assistance. They were so worried about me! I felt so amazingly honored, (embarrassed), and felt so special to receive such caring from my law firm. I am quite certain this is not common practice!! Another compassionate example is that Chera constantly checked on me when my Mom was suffering from brain cancer and then again when she entered hospice care. We did not hear from them until about 3 weeks into the transaction after I kept calling. The HUD was sent the day before I had to call about that as well. We arrived for a 9am and were not taken in to sign until after 10am no one let us know what was going on. Seller finally signed at 10:30am. Noting mentioned on delivery of funds so I called and Robin said we do not wire we can overnight and it costs 85.00??? it is now almost 4:00 we have not heard from anyone regarding the recording or delivery of checks or when we may pick them up! Robin sent me am email and said she could express mail my check with the seller check of almost 1 million dollars... Are you kidding me?? who would do that? I asked for the drug test to be hair ones and when I got one finally back from him it wasn't a hair one it raised more questions than answered. That's what getting on with this firm will be like, it'll raise a lot more questions for a lot of money than you'll figure out by the end. If I had the money or could get mine back I already know who I'd hire but sadly I got stuck with one I didn't really know that lied to me and told me they'd do all the things I asked for until time started going by and the money was being used for what I don't know but we shall see if I'm aloud to look at my case file, I went with out a car for years to pay her and to be just disregarded like this and the entire 2 years it took her to get the same joint custody that still isn't being followed should speak to if she'll get things done for you. This is my honest review and I really hope I can figure out something to save my kids case but I'm happy I kept all I had because that's probably I'll that will be in court and If she only filed it as one contempt I have a feeling that will mess it up because it's over 20 documented with proof and the date (I keep it because a lot of my stuff was lost before plus I spent nearly $300 on a binder that was never used or saw in court! So I'll keep my little folder real close. If anyone sees this and had an idea please reach out because this isn't working and I highly doubt she will change nor will anything else unless I somehow do it.
