I got the ticket July 2 & the court date was scheduled for September 6, and it was mandatory appearance (anything in NC over 80 is mandatory court). The NCHP officer wouldn't budge on the 15mph over the speed limit either... but luckily, I came across Welborn Law Firm when googling traffic citation attorneys in Davie County... he was at the top of the search, and I see why! We scheduled a pre-call to determine the next steps, potential costs, etc. Jon was both very personable & knowledgeable, and he advised he'd likely be able to get it reduced to Improper Equipment, but no guarantees. She's attentive to details and she's not easily intimidated or persuaded. She truly does what you want a lawyer to do...fight your case. I hired her for a DUI charge and after almost 3 years of going back and forth, today we won our case. Something I honestly didn't think would happen and was told by several other lawyers and court officials that getting out of a DUI is almost unheard of, that i had a one in a million percent chance. Their work seems to be subpar with typos and incorrect dates. They can't find documents that they've created and call you to get copies of them from you. They put delays on closing property because of stuff they seemingly didn't do and they don't tell you until literally a couple hours before the closing. And when you try to find out what's going on in the information, you leave several messages and no one calls you back.
