Often the Oroton products are discounted by 50% which is amazing, considering it is such beautiful product and you can pick up a $600 bag for $300, a steal. There was one time they had an additional 20% off in store for the weekend and I got a $400 bag for $160. You will find the full Oroton range here, bags, accessories, lingerie, clothing, sunglasses, jewelry and belts and if you don't mind it being last season then this is the place to come. The Ralph Lauren ranges are for men, women and kids. They always have lots of shirts and polos but I find it really hard to get my size. You need to come in frequently as they are always getting in new stock then that way you have better odds of finding your size. It is like that with all outlet stores and for the discounts it is worth the frequent visits to check out the racks.

Levis don't always advertise their special deals on the Dress Smart website so if you're a jeans addict like I am popping in every once in a while is not a bad idea. The jeans are always cheap but often it is just crazy which is why you often have to push your way through the crowds to find anything here and be prepared to wait for the fitting rooms. I never bother trying them on so this isn't a problem for me thankfully. Last week I came in here while they were running a special that if you bought 2 or more pairs they are only $40 each. This is fantastic. Jeans that were $120 for $40, why not. You can never have too many, so many different colours and washes and the staff are really good at helping you find sizes. Sometimes there is a samples rack in store so you can pick up one offs at really good prices too.

These days it's in Dressmart, so I don't go here often, because I try and avoid Dressmart as much as I can. I've only gone into the Levis outlet a couple of times, and I've never bought anything. Any of the jeans that are cheap enough that they are a bargain are always in some weird as size, or some weird old style, and the other clothes that look sweet and are a sweet size aren't cheap enough to be worthy of a purchase. I don't like the people who work there either, they are not helpful or friendly. Go back out onto the main road, you might become good again.

Though the patterns are not always the most interesting, it's great, simple, sophisticated fashion. Some for cocktail evenings, others for an ordinary day lounging around the house. I'm always keen to get a good deal, but I'm happy with the times I paid full price as well, because it is always worth it. The staff are friendly, and don't force you to spend any money on things that don't suit you. I found them to be honest and helpful - Really great service!

Their shop is spacious and I like how things are sorted by colour. Then I can just go to the area that appeals to me! What I do find odd though is the sizing. Things are sized 1,2,3 etc and it is not easy to tell what that really means unless you try things on. And unlike other stores, I can't buy things here without trying on - a size 2 isn't necessarily the same fit for all garments. Great quality fabrics though - some items that I've had for years are still going strong.

A Decjuba store in Sylvia Park was way overdue- before it opened, the closest store to me was in Newmarket. The store itself is pretty bare- white walls, minimal fixtures. Usually I wouldn't be into that but because I adore the clothes, I give them a pass. The clothes here aren't particularly cheap, but the quality is great. I'm not usually into print dresses (unless its floral), but they do some very cool prints here from tiger stripes to psychedelic, other-worldly patterns. For the semi-conservative girl like me, they do pretty lace dresses, peplums and great sweaters to get you through winter. The mannequins at Decjuba always looks awesome and definitely do their job at trying to coerce you into a big purchase!

It doesn't get terribly busy here so there's a bit more emphasis on how good the customer service is here (less customers = more service). There are mannequins everywhere and I actually quite like them! I'm pretty well-versed in menswear and I'm usually quite impressed with the merchandise at Tarocash. I've always liked the colour palette at Tarocash, over the seasons they add or take away a couple of shades but essentially its a lot of deep blues, turquoise, purples and mahoganies. I'm not particularly into anything too bright, but the last time I went to Tarocash was for a new shirt for my partner. There was a sale on, but I was a bit more pre-occupied with which shirt was going to be the best choice. The lady that served me was young and hip, very cool and gave me a few options to look at with my friend. I surprisingly ended up with an aqua shirt with a subtle stripe (summer colours for the summer, of course!). The material was soft and cool to the touch, so it was a must-buy for me. I didn't actually know it was part of the sale, so I was ready to swipe my card for a $120 shirt- it was worth that price!- and it ended up being $60. Awesome bargain. Tarocash is great if you've got a little extra money to spend on formalwear/businesswear. They do classic colours with a twist and I've found the service to be great and consistent.

I'm not sure where these clothes come from, but they are all asian brands (no big brand rip offs, so that's a relief). I enjoy having a squiz and the shop lady is always very friendly and helpful. There's never a time I walk in that she doesn't greet me and offer her help. Find this shop between Michael Hill Jeweller & Shanton at Westfield Manukau. It's great for someone on a budget - their ball dresses are stunning, so I'd pop along here if I'm looking for that special one night gown.

There's a very specific look and feel to Blue Illusion clothes (and accessories and shoes and incidental little homewares items) that you can only really get the feel of by browsing. I've always found the quality outstanding - especially the fabrics which are beautiful to wear. The service at this branch is usually excellent - the sales assistant who's been there since the store opened (I think she might be the owner/manager) is really excellent, friendly and totally helpful. There's also an older woman who works there who lets the shop down a bit in my opinion - no matter what you look at she's ready with a "That's beautiful isn't it?". Umm, yes, but we don't really need to have a conversation about it, do we?

Not only did I leave with the pair of shoes, little saude reds that are said to be exlusive as each of the 4 stores Auckland wide recieve only one pair in each size of all their shoe range, but I left wanting to go back and explore the shop when I had the time to do a thorough job. Though I do feel my wallet was a bit relieved! This store is French themed and stocks not only shoes but all fashion, mainly clothes, but also with shoes and accessories. I spied several lovely looking handbags along the shelves. I had lovely customer service from the lady working there who encouraged me to sign up for a loyalty card ( it is not often a store suceeds in doing this for me- the emails bother me), telling me I get vouchers from spending money and on my birthday!

Still, the prices are great if you need something in a jiffy and they tend to have my size. Although they do run out fast if they have a sale going! This particular branch is smaller and has a less interesting variety than others. The staff are not very attentive either, as they tend to focus on stacking shoes rather than customer service. For these reasons, I would generally recommend Manukau Westfield or Onehunga Shoe Warehouses instead.
