    Walking and cycling trail

Nice gateway to walk and ride a bike along the LA River. There are decent restrooms and easy parking in a week day. The park tucked in a neighborhood so it's a nice hidden gem in LA and a place to park and use the restroom before exploring the LA River trail. One of my new favorite parks in Los Angeles!

:: Park :: Nice little park with plenty of space for picnics and dog walking. There are a couple outdoor fitness equipment stations and a cool photography spot near the entrance. There's also a skatepark on the opposite side of the entrance. This park is near the Los Angeles River and we were able to spot a heron there. Along the river is a bike path, we saw some people use it to walk as well. Just be cautious of your surroundings, especially for crazy fast bikers. There was almost an altercation with 2 "gentlemen," one on the bike and the other walking. :: Parking :: They have their own parking lot and a EV charging station (2-3 spaces).

Update: 7.27.21 Gates are open again! Yay! Thank you to Recreation & Parks officers for always keeping this gem off the LA River a great little spot!

Nestled between the LA River and the 5 fwy it is remarkably peaceful. Close enough to grab a coffee at La Columbe or rent a bike at Spoke and ride down to Marsh Park. There's a good balance of locals and visitors since the bike path runs along the park. I am definitely adding this to our weekend routine.

Clean, great parking and easy access to the LA River. Have exercise machines, electric car charging stations, clean restrooms, grass field for kids and activities, historical and conservation displays. Great Park. I always park my car here when I come biking at the LA River. A hidden gem!

Cute little park that the edge of the River. Has multiple little stops along Greenway. Has some really neat animal mosaics that kiddos can climb on. Lots of shaded area and benches to relax on.

It sat vacant for a few years and briefly reopened as a performing arts space in 2013 but was forced to shut down. After being declared a historic monument, it underwent a complete renovation by new owners in 2015. The building changed hands again in 2023 and functions as an event center and a shared common workspace. This three-story venue has rooms upstairs. Downstairs is the main room with lofty ceilings, large windows, wood floors, a kitchen, bathrooms, and a stage for a DJ or live bands. Downstairs is a speakeasy style bar and the backyard is also a nice spot for an outdoor reception. I've driven by this place numerous times thinking it was just a church. I recently saw that there was a Holiday Market Place being held here so I stopped in to do some shopping. There was a man on the front lawn making pupusas and people sitting at tables enjoying them. Inside is quite spacious and there were several vendors selling their merchandise. The tables were nicely spaced apart, so it was easy to browse. This realty is a nice spot for an event or to use as a shared workspace. *Street parking only.

CRATES. they barely had any garbage disposals for us to clean. main thing was the workers under the company look lazy and rude. if we didn't clean, they would keep the deposit. I don't think a reception of that size would be overlooked by the host and simply wasn't disclosed that significant detail. for the price of a different venue with all services for cleanup, seems like it's better to go somewhere else. plus, no parking and it's only street. interesting space but pass.
