I have used LG for multiple sessions since 2017. Unfortunately the complete lack of professionalism, communication, accountability and quality has been so poor that I will never be using this business again and would suggest you don't either. I first used her for wedding photos in 2017. The photos were delivered way past the date in our contract, but the quality was good. The second time I used her was for newborn pictures. We discussed day and time and she was a no show. She finally showed after I left many voicemails and messages. I do have proof in my email that she had confirmed the day and time. Again, photos were delivered way past the due date but the quality was good. She blamed the fact that she had my maiden name listed and that was why they were late sending them back. Again, taking no ownership for her own error. I signed my married name in my emails when confirming our date. From this point forward, I always made sure to include both my maiden name and married name when starting a new email thread so that she could not place blame on me in the future. The third time I used her was for my daughter's second birthday photos and a mini maternity session. I did them back to back. Again, she was a no show. I have emails to prove that she did in fact confirm the day and time. She always acts surprised like she didn't have me down on her calendar as if it's not her fault. No ownership or accountability. Again, the photos were delivered way past the due date. I have never received photos from her on time. It's always excuses and zero accountability. If she is not able to hold herself to the timeline that SHE gives herself, then she needs to change her website information. It's that simple. Up until this point, I had been willing to work with the terrible communication because I loved her photos. This all changed when I received my daughters second birthday photos. They look nothing like her work. The quality is horrible. We look washed out and the white wall behind us is literally blue. My daughter is naturally pale, but she looks like a ghost the way these are edited. It looks as if she slapped a poor quality preset on every photo. They don't reflect her work at all. I emailed her kindly asking if she could re-edit the photos. This email was sent 05/11. She finally responded and asked what session I was comparing it to because she said colors have a big influence. That makes sense but I always put us in neutral colors so the poor editing was not because we were wearing loud colors. I sent her a screenshot of photos she had done for us in the past and another session I had picked on her website. She told me she had it set to re-edit June 27th 2023. It is now March 8th 2024 and I have still not received these photos. I have sent an email about once a month every month since then and sometimes she doesn't respond at all and other times it's just another excuse. I had these photos taken for my daughter's second birthday and she is now THREE. She is unable to respond but not unable to consistently post on social media. So all in all 2 of the 4 sessions she no showed and every single session has been delivered late. Now the quality is bad. I gave her every opportunity to rectify the situation and she chose not to do so. I know she likes to argue back to some of these reviews (again no accountability whatsoever and always puts the blame on others) but I absolutely have saved every email and message with proof of everything that I have stated here with date and time stamps included. If anyone wants me to send them, I'd be more than happy to. I have never been more frustrated with trying to communicate with literally anyone in my entire life than this business. read more

Accommodating to my needs regarding walking and location, rescheduled a session due to wind, photos were still amazing and beautiful even though it was windy and cold despite our attempt to avoid, and delivered photos within two weeks. Before you start reading the 5 star reviews just know Lisa pretty much paid her Facebook group, mostly women who have NEVER used her to leave positive reviews by offering a free session, which I don't think any of them received nearly 6 months later. I paid for a Platinum Newborn package that was supposed to include 80-100 photos, last 2 to 4 hours and receive within 5, yes 5 days! I received 40 pictures, it lasted less than 2 hours and my baby was perfect and slept the entire time, and did not get my pictures back until 6 weeks later. She said after the holidays which is weeks passed, she would go through my pictures again. Mind you, they would be duplicates! Not only does she make up excuses she doesn't do the work herself. Her sister was good and kind but when you dont do your work yourself, things get messed up, like me clearly not getting enough pictures taken. I emailed the day after our session and made sure I would receive my pictures in 5 days and another person responded back yes, which obviously didnt get relayed that I asked. Finally after over a month of me asking Lisa said I was wrote down for a lesser package! She did not give any options to fix this. I have a session balance with her because she canceled on us for the refuge last April, so I guess she played me for more money. Be very cautious when using her. I know I'm a not alone on this, a woman got pictures done in Florida and way after the deadline still hadn't received them, we messaged with each other our horror stories. read more

Horrible customer service and quality is not at all what it used to be! Does not meet her own deadlines for delivery of photos and always has an excuse of why she's late. She never takes ownership of her delays and once photos are received they are no longer current pictures. Total lack of communication. If you leave her a question or comment on Facebook because she won't respond to emails, texts or voice messages about expected ETA, then she just deletes the comment, blocks you on Facebook and still doesn't respond in any other way. Can I give 0 stars? Everyone and anyone should run from doing any kind of business with this "photographer" who also goes by 30a Beach Photographer aka Lisa George. I found her on a beach vacationing page that I follow via social media and was immediately drawn to her vibrant, colorful, and bold beach pictures. I went to her website and emailed her for availability to which she got right back to me to set up a date and ask for a deposit. The deposit was paid and the contract was signed stating that full payment would be due two days prior to the photo session and that a turnaround time for a full edited gallery would be four weeks. My family and I travel to Destin, Florida for a vacation from the St. Louis, Missouri area and are very excited to finally have all of us on the beach together for the first time. Lisa had originally said that she would reach out to me two days before the session to let me know where to meet for the shoot. I did not hear from her and had to reach out to her myself the day before our photos, which I found unsettling. At this point, we had already made a full payment of $950 weeks before so she was paid in full far in advance. We met with her at the exact place and time she stated via text messages and without introducing herself or saying two words she got right into shooting the session. She did let us see one or two photos on the camera during the shoot which was nice. We paid for 30-40 minutes of her time and she stayed for a max of 30 minutes and quickly ran off as if she was in a rush. She had stated that she would get me a sneak peek 3-4 days from that day. The 3-4 day window came and went and I had nothing. At this point, we had flown back to St. Louis where home is. I decided it is Fall and maybe a busy season for her, I know it can be a hassle with people nagging you for photos so I let her have her four weeks per the signed contract. Then, the four weeks came and went. I politely emailed and texted Lisa asking when we would be getting our photos as did my sister-in-law. There was either no response at all or a very close-ended text message beating around the bush. Her first response back to my question said that she believed she had two more days because "October 10th-November 10th is exactly four weeks" (it's not) but I wasn't going to argue so I said okay that sounds good. She said she would have them to us by midnight two days from then. We waited patiently and midnight came and went, surprise! We did not get anything from her. My sister-in-law called her the next morning as did I and got no response, just an automated text, "Can I call you later" within 30 seconds of the call. I texted her and told her how unprofessional she was acting and how we have been nothing but patient with her and she finally texted me back stating that she was out last night with friends which is why the pictures didn't get sent. She could sense that I was not happy so she decided she was going to refund me. I said no, I want the images that we paid you for. She INSISTED that she refunded me the $950 instead of just sending the images which was very fishy. She claimed she was boarding a plane that I needed to hurry up and give her my Venmo and so I did and got my full refund but nothing can fix the fact that we are out of our family photos. She wasted our time, money, and precious memories we can't get back. My parents are getting older and it was their first time at the beach with their grandkids, it is just a shame that this person is out there doing this over and over again to these poor families and still getting away with it. I wish I had looked at her BBB rating which is an F and multiple horrible Yelp reviews because it seems that this is not her first rodeo with this outcome. She has a track record and this has been going on for years. I was naive and did not see any ratings on her social pages which is also odd looking back and with how this scenario has been dealt with. She must have her reviews turned off for everyone to see on Facebook, Instagram, and so on. Lisa, you can hide those reviews honey but Yelp and BBB don't lie and are there for the public eye FOR GOOD. I wanted my images, not a refund. I am appreciative of my refund however, we are without images now which is the worst part. Going forward I will NEVER give any vendor a full payment up front before receiving the service contracted. I understand a deposit to book but Lisa has ruined it for me and I pray that no one else goes through this. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE read all of these Yelp reviews before giving Lisa a dime! You WILL NOT get your images and will go round and round with a grown woman who acts like a child only to get nowhere, plain and simple. Lisa has excuse after excuse and can't simply answer the question "When will the gallery be ready?" We booked LG PHOTOGRAPHY in July for our 2022 Santa Pictures. WORST mistake we could have made. We paid $300 not including the travel and outfits. We got there and it's BUSY. She booked around 8 families to show up at the same time (500 families total) and our photos took 5 minutes MAX. We get photos done and head home. These pictures were taken the beginning of November and the contract says she should have delivered the pictures in 6 weeks. But we have nothing going into the 3rd week of December. I've called. I've emailed. I've messaged. I've Facebook messaged. I've emailed again and again. NOTHING. I commented on her page along with tons of others. Those comments were deleted and we were blocked so that she did not have any negative comments which would ultimately affect her business, as it should have. We just wanted communication. We got none. She left us and many others high and dry. It's our baby's first Christmas and now his first Christmas photos are gone. Not because of an honest mistake. But because of an unprofessional, disgraceful, fraudulent, spiteful business owner. Treat your customers better. Treat people better. And just communicate. What an absolute let down. What a rip-off! I signed up for the Fall Magic Mini for my 11 year old son knowing it would allow me plenty of time to give photos to family around Christmas. We drove two hours to a location. She took a few shots, never talked to my son to help him relax or smile and that was it. Still if we had gotten even one good shot it would have been acceptable. It's now January and I haven't received ANY photos. No one answers the phone. I have sent several emails. I got an answer from an assistant one time telling me they would contact me later that day. We chose Lisa for a session based on her beautiful editing skills. Her galleries are amazing. However, the gallery we paid over $300 for and drive over 2 hours to the location left little to be desired. It seems she rushed through our edits due to being over booked, which she's been very vocal about on social media. She promised our photos to be ready within 6 weeks but we waited nearly 10 weeks. Therefore, we didn't have them for the event that we had them taken for. She is terrible about getting back to you but has time to be catty on social media about how 'busy and in demand she is and if you think you can do better then go ahead'. Shes rude and disrespectful. Like many others, I found these reviews too late. She was quick to communicate before I signed the contract and paid for a sunset beach session. When the contract deadline of 30 days was up I didn't have my photos and emailed and texted and used fb messenger... I got a response back to give her until the end of the week. The end of the week came and nothing and no response until someone else commented on her photography fb page that I would never get my photos. Then someone messaged me that I would get my photos before the end of the week. By 5 on Friday I didn't have the photos. Now I'm waiting on a refund. My bank is disputing the charge if I don't get it next week. Ingot an email that they would resend photos but they never ever sent the photos. Since this issue became public I've been contacted by more than a dozen others who also didn't get their photos or their photos looked nothing like what she advertises. We hired Lisa (and Michael) George for a Florida beach session and the quality of the images and the customer service were far below my expectations based on her social media pages. There's no doubt that her photos are great, but their customer service is beyond awful. You're lucky if they respond to your emails and your pictures are constantly late despite already having an extra long turn around time. After spending literally over $2000 on her despite this, she decided my toddlers were too difficult to deal with so cancelled my future already paid for sessions which was awful enough, but on top of that after a month STILL has not refunded my money. Lisa shoots fab photos, however their customer service is less to be desired. I had a photo shoot done July 25th, they told me per their contract the photos would be done in 6 weeks. I waited until the day after it had been 6 weeks to inquire about the link to access the photos. No reply. I asked again a few days later and again a few days after that and nothing. It had been two weeks so I decided to text them. They replied that she had finished those up weeks ago and IF she still had them in archives she would resend the. - IF? As a client how could I have avoided this? I patiently waited in the time frame given and then inquired the day after they should have been ready. She said I was being aggressive because I was upset that they MIGHT have erased them. I wasnt aggressive - I was upset but far from rude. I even offered to pay double for the photos if she would just resend them. She refused. She said she would refund my money which is NOT what I wanted. I wanted the pictures. I would happily bow out from her client list if I could just have my photos. She refused. I did get my refund but again- not what I wanted. She is good photographer. I loved her work - but if you are at all unhappy she will call you, scream and talk over you on the phone, blame you never getting your photos on you and then hang up on you. read more

Lisa was great until recently. Which has been a shock and unfortunately we will no longer be using her even though she was our photographer since my son was one. I paid almost $500 for a photo session for my nieces 1 year birthday as a gift to my sister. She signed a contract which has become her standard which stated the date that we would receive photos one month after the session. I contacted her at one month to ask about the pictures and she said they would post the next day. They did not. I waited an extra week thinking that she was probably busy and didn't want to rush her. I contacted her again via her "let's talk" page when I did not hear back for several days I texted her and she said she couldn't meet my expectations and said she refunded my money and would send me ten photos when she had the time (3 months later and that has not happened). The most shocking part was that I even told her I wasn't upset and just hoped to get an update since she didn't post when promised and that I understood that she has to deal with her Christmas retakes but she didn't care. I have never been so disappointed. That coupled with the fact it takes sometimes weeks to respond to "let's talk" emails and information from another client that it took six months recently to receive photos I've decided that she no longer cares about her clients. She has taken in too much and everyone is just a payday. Her contract is only for her and if she doesn't stick to it then that's fine she will just screw you over. My sister doesn't have one year photos of her daughter because Lisa decided a simple update was too much. I also have text of all of this if anyone needs verification that this actually took place.
