Our experience at li.ke Thai was fantastic! Right when you enter, the ambiance is amazing and transports you to Thailand with bright colors, patterns and textures. It's very inviting and friendly, as are the staff.
To order, you write down the numbers of the dishes on a notepad along with the sides and drinks you want.
We ordered a variety of small (3,90€) and large plates (9,30€), including:
-- Papaya Salad (small) // Really fresh, citrusy and tasty. Perfect for a nice crunch and bright bite.
-- Spring Rolls (small) // Classic spring rolls with fresh vegetables and a delicious peanut sauce.
-- Phad like Kimao (small) // This spicy wok dish was a great addition because it had plenty of veggies and a nice kick.
-- Kau Phad (large) // Pineapple fried rice with a bit of a coconut and peanut flavor in the sauce. Very good and a balanced dish that was different than the others. Loved the seitan and edamame in it.
-- Pad Thai (large) // One of the best pad Thai dishes I've had, with a great chili tamarind sauce, fresh salad, crushed peanuts and perfect tofu.
We also ordered sticky rice and jasmine rice on the side and it ended up being plenty. I absolutely loved everything we ordered and will definitely be back next time we're in town! I would love to try more of the small bowls and I enjoyed the fact that everything was very shareable and family style.
They offer Thai beer, vegan wine, cocktails and fresh homemade drinks like lemonade and lassi. My partner loved the Red Dream drink! There are tons of Thai places in Berlin but of them all, I would highly recommend li.ke Thai. read more
