He told me his staff was doing there job and he knew I did not wear them often and that when I do I have comfort, fit problems with sores and keeping them in my mouth. The fact that he stepped up is huge and my wife loves him and is going back for some work this week. He has put in many implants in her mouth and crowns and all have worked out brilliantly. He wants me to come for cleaning first with my 8 teeth (hahahaha) so I will see if I make it. I may opt for one of these YouTube dentures since I have friends that love them and all the appointments and dealing with issues for years hopefully won't be there. I have never found a perfect dentist that has it all. The location is on the bus line for me and easy for me to get to. I like hanging in the Oakland area so that worked out well for me. So about my first time pleasant experience, I have nothing but positive things to say and can't think of one negative thing to say. I had no problem making an appointment either. Calling the office is easy to get a hold of compared to other offices where it's hard to get through or even schedule an appointment. The receptionist was friendly and greeted me. I believe her name is Nicole. The dental hygienist was real nice too and thorough at her job. She made me comfortable by being gentle on my teeth when scraping the plaque off. Her name is Lauren. It was real easy of a checkup which how it should be. As for Dr. Cushman, he was a real nice man and a real good dentist checking my mouth thoroughly for cavities and he was able to answer my questions well. I have felt real comfortable and I am looking forward to having Dr. Cushman as my future dentist! If he retires, I hope someone just as good as him and his staff replace him. If you are looking for a new dentist and have a fear of dentists, this is the place to go I recommened where you will feel the most comfortable. I will be going to this dentist from now on every 6 months for a teeth cleaning and if I have any problems with my mouth, I will trust this dentist office too. There's a reason why Dr. Cushman is a Top Rated dentist based on research I did for an excellent dentist! I don't even care if this office is not in walking distance for me either. I rather have to take the bus to go to a great professional dentist that is out of my way than walk to a close by dentist who isn't that good.

The staff is friendly and helpful, and Dr. Feigel is a skilled dentist and a good communicator too. I've also encountered some (lack of) insurance problems, and Dr. B has worked with me on those to try to lessen the stress. Worth the drive to the south hills, for sure! Some of the ceiling tiles in the rooms are clouds, just for an added touch :) And there is a photo book in the lobby of a medical mission/service trip Bellios took. He's just an actual decent human being, which is comforting when you're sitting in that dreaded chair!

The whole staff was incredibly kind and they are all very upbeat. Dr Bellios was so nice in explaining everything to me when he made my treatment plan. There wasn't a single question or concern that I brought up that he didn't make me feel at ease about. The girl at the front desk (Rena?) is super awesome about finding an appointment time that works with your schedule and working with you for a payment plan if you need it. She puts you at ease the minute you walking in the door and that makes her spectacular. I ended up needing a root canal, crown and some fillings. The root canal wasn't what I thought it would be like. I was so scared that it would hurt but Dr Bellios was very patient and made sure it didn't hurt at all. Every step of the way he was very kind and patient, even when some things just wouldn't get numb! I've Now completed my treatment plan and I couldn't be happier. If you are looking for a new dentist I highly recommend coming here. The whole staff is great and if you're afraid of the dentist, like I was, they'll fix that :)

Dr Arnie would take time to consult with you about any dental work needed, but now you are just told what needs done and to schedule an appointment. Multiple times I have had the current dentists try to insist on getting root canals, and not take the time to talk with me about what I think. My teeth are not very sensitive, and Dr Arnie would always take into consideration that each person is different- he provided me with multiple fillings where a root canal could have been an option, but in each case his excellent work has held up and limited the amount of pain & money that would have come from constant root canals. Instead of a focus on patient care, there seems to be more of a focus on financial gain - my last appt I was quoted for over $1800 of work that would need done and had to all be done at the same time. Did not do any of it, and still no issues more than a year later. The office staff is also very unfriendly, especially to a family needing to book multiple appts at once. They refuse to book cleanings any less than 8 months out (despite 6 months being the recommended time frame) yet take on new patients and give them priority scheduling. They seem to also have a shortage of dental hygienists, claiming they have more business than can currently be handled by their staff. We had gone to this dentist for more than 25 years without having any of these issues, but with the retirement of Dr Arnie it is no longer a good dentist office. I would highly recommend finding a different dentist to avoid the same poor service we have experienced.

To be honest I hadn't been to the dentist in over three year~yikes!~ so I had some plaque build up. I have had some negative experiences with my past dentist so I'm always skeptical. However, she did a great job and I felt very comfortable the whole time. Dr. Thomas came in after my cleaning and he was also very friendly and professional! He answered all my questions thoughtfully. I also really liked when I asked him about my bottom crooked teeth that mentioned visaline and how they had a specialist at their practice but he did not pressure me at all and just mentioned it for if down the line I wanted to consider it. Also my previous dentist told me that it was imperative that I got my wisdom teeth pulled Dr. Thomas informed me that there is no reason for me to get my wisdom teeth pulled. I loved how honest this practice was and that they weren't trying to nickel and dime you. This is the greatest doctor experience I have ever had! Would 100% recommend this place to everyone!
