The manufacturer gave me DIY instructions to redo it with the correct product which I've now done because it has been months with zero ability to get ahold of CFS. The manufacturer also told me this is not the first time they've heard of CFS problems and they apparently use un-knowledgable subcontractors for a lot of their work I also found out they recently added? or changed their name to Columbus Polish and Epoxy OH

He didn't push upselling, didn't push me to spend an extra $4k on work that wasn't necessary, he gave us all the options to make an informed decision. (I started to shovel, but it was a useless, tedius thing to do.) I could finally leave my house. Once out, it seemed the rest of the world must not have long driveways! If they treat customers the same way they drive the company truck, take business elsewhere. The Red pickup with the name and phone number on the he side was behind me for several miles while I was trying to pass a truck at 77 miles an hour. Unfortunately had someone ahead of us who should not have been in passing lane. So the few cars in front of me made it impossible to move over so this truck could get by me. He was literally 18 inches off my bumper at 80 miles an hour. Suddenly he dropped way back and swerved into the far right lane, no blinker, no regard for safety. Then in far right lane proceeded to pass everyone at about 100 mph. Shameful, dangerous, anger issues. God bless read more

He was quick to provide a quote and answered all my questions about the price, the strength of the concrete and what to expect. We were pleased with his quote and signed the contract. It took 8 weeks for the team to schedule us (which is typical, FYI). When the crew were ready, they called to check on our availability and right away spent the day taking out our old asphalt and concrete and framing the area. They asked for half the payment at that point. The next day (Friday) they taped and covered with plastic our front door, our garage etc so there would be no splatters, then in the afternoon came and poured-making sure to contact me to make sure I knew what was happening. Then on Saturday, their crew came out again to clean up the plastic and put back our landscape pavers and rocks that they had to remove to add the concrete frames. I especially appreciated how kind the crew was and how hard they worked to put back the landscaping exactly as I wanted. Terry came to check on the work personally and did not want the other half of our payment until he knew that I was fully satisfied with the work that was done. Great work and communication and a fair price.

We hired G Ruh Concrete to install a patio at our home a little over a year ago. Not long after the job was completed, we noticed several quality issues -- ones they acknowledged and promised to fix. Unfortunately, despite repeated assurances, the follow-through never came. Over the past year, we've made every reasonable attempt to resolve the situation: calls, texts, emails -- all ignored. Most recently, we've discovered we've been blocked on social media, which feels like a final attempt to shut down any communication or accountability. We've given them ample time and opportunity to make it right, but at this point, we want others to be aware. If you're considering working with G Ruh Concrete, we strongly recommend proceeding with caution.
