With that being said I needed to go to a bank so Capital One could confirm my identity for a credit card and since this was the closest open financial institution I came here. Although they were understaffed on the Saturday morning I came in with only three bankers and about the same number of lobby tellers, once I waited in the seating area for around 15 minutes I explained what I needed to my banker and even though I informed her that I am not a customer here she went ahead and called Capital One for me which was a 20 minute game of personal information sharing, holding, and handing the phone back and forth. Before we made the call I was told about their checking and savings products and we casually talked about their credit cards and other services during the call but I greatly appreciate the fact that even though I'm not a customer here the banker I worked with was very kind and told me not to worry that the ridiculous verification process was taking so long which was quite a positive experience and made me feel as if I wasn't at such a powerful and monolithic institution.

One minute... I arrived one minute after closing and your door was locked. You let someone out,…read morenoticed there were four of us that just arrived and you said "sorry, we're closed", then closed /locked the door again. It must be absolutely wonderful to be so confident in your business and your job that you can close the door on 4 customers that went out of their way to leave home or work and drive all the way to your location. Must be a very comfortable feeling. Maybe stop being comfortable because some of us are leaving for banks with convenient hours (who closes at 4PM???) and customer service skills. A month or so ago I was in your branch and one of the ladies said that it won't be long before almost all transactions will be done online and there will be very few actual branches. I'm not surprised Bank of America feels that way. Other banks will stay open and be rewarded. Not you. It's shameful. Try harder. Or maybe try, for once.

I've been a bank member here my entire adult life (10+ years), and consistently this bank, especially at this location, has felt unwelcoming and unhelpful. Not ever directly rude, but service with the kind of subversive passive-aggressive attitude that clearly indicates resent. Came to deposit a check here on 7/31/26 and was given the run-around for over 3 hours- unfairly deemed a "suspicious" with a constantly moving goalpost of how I could remedy the situation. First I'm not given a clean answer about who has the authority to clear a mandatory hold- getting conflicting statements from senior staff. Then comes the increasingly invasive questions- "Are you currently working?" "What have you been doing for money ?", "What are you going to use this for?", "How much of it do you need right now?". Seemingly unsatisfied with my answers, I'm flat out told that the check can't be deposited. I instead have to drive in-person to a completely different bank, get it cashed, and return with the bills to have them available for use in my account. Having to work through another bank just to bank here is completely unacceptable, and ridiculous. I hate to think this was racially motivated, but if it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck..! TLDR; If you're reading this, save yourself the dignity, spare your sanity, and take your time, business, and money, elsewhere. No need to support places that don't support you.

Their employees are rude and have no sense of humanity, nor do they care if you keep your account. I've never felt more distrust towards a bank.
