First off let me say that I'm not a fan of large banks since there are plenty of small local and regional banks that can better and less corruptly put your banknotes to work through fractional-reserve banking. With that being said I needed to go to a bank so Capital One could confirm my identity for a credit card and since this was the closest open financial institution I came here. Although they were understaffed on the Saturday morning I came in with only three bankers and about the same number of lobby tellers, once I waited in the seating area for around 15 minutes I explained what I needed to my banker and even though I informed her that I am not a customer here she went ahead and called Capital One for me which was a 20 minute game of personal information sharing, holding, and handing the phone back and forth. Before we made the call I was told about their checking and savings products and we casually talked about their credit cards and other services during the call but I greatly appreciate the fact that even though I'm not a customer here the banker I worked with was very kind and told me not to worry that the ridiculous verification process was taking so long which was quite a positive experience and made me feel as if I wasn't at such a powerful and monolithic institution. read more

One minute... I arrived one minute after closing and your door was locked. You let someone out,…read morenoticed there were four of us that just arrived and you said "sorry, we're closed", then closed /locked the door again. It must be absolutely wonderful to be so confident in your business and your job that you can close the door on 4 customers that went out of their way to leave home or work and drive all the way to your location. Must be a very comfortable feeling. Maybe stop being comfortable because some of us are leaving for banks with convenient hours (who closes at 4PM???) and customer service skills. A month or so ago I was in your branch and one of the ladies said that it won't be long before almost all transactions will be done online and there will be very few actual branches. I'm not surprised Bank of America feels that way. Other banks will stay open and be rewarded. Not you. It's shameful. Try harder. Or maybe try, for once.

Their employees are rude and have no sense of humanity, nor do they care if you keep your account. I've never felt more distrust towards a bank. I'm having to leave a negative review because I've done had it with this bank, especially this…read morelocation just keeps getting worse. 8-2 for drive through hours so the working man or woman can't go do anything unless it's by appointment only which is BS because the lobby should be open. I saw plenty of workers in the building yet they couldn't help me get a temporary card at least so I can actually use my account? You're going to tell me to drive 20 minutes to loganville just so I can use the drive through?

I was supposed to go to 5070 Peachtree Blvd but instead he dropped me at 5070 Peachtree Industrial Blvd. Leading me having to order and wait for another Uber. I was not there more than 2 minutes before a man came out and said "do you need help" I said no my uber dropped me in the wrong location and I am waiting for a new driver. He said well this doesn't look good we are a financial institution and you shouldn't be here. He then proceeded to say maybe you should stand in the front (I was already standing there). I completely ignored him and continued to wait for my uber. He proceeded to sit in his car and watch me until my Uber arrived along with another worker. This is deplorable and from what I can see in the reviews this is a not a one time thing. This financial institution is known for racially profiling people including their own customers. I literally live down the street. Never have been in trouble with the law in my entire life. The fact that this man could think I was there to do something mischievous when I clearly had on my purse, a pair of $500 headphones, and dressed in a manner that clearly shows I was going out for dinner. Never in my life have I experienced such a thing. I'm going to do everything I can to detour people from ever trying to bank here and will expose them all on social media

However, the newer branch in Snellville, GA, needs to make some adjustments in regards to their ATM. About fifty percent of the time, that I have had to make a deposit at this ATM, "the machine was not accepting cash deposits at the time". It's extremely frustrating because the next closest location is in Suwanee, GA which is 12 miles away! That is absolutely ridiculous that anyone would have to drive an additional 20 minutes out of the way just to make cash deposits in the ATM. The weekends are the worst! On a side note, this location could stand to either hire sufficient staffing or stay open until 1 pm. It is nothing to go into this location on a Saturday morning and see the line almost out the door. Delta community really needs to consider putting up a free standing ATM or even another branch somewhere in between these locations to serve its growing customer base. In my past experience, limitations to access of banking facilities/services caused me to take my business elsewhere. I'm hoping that DCCU brings a quick resolution to this significant issue.

The Covington branch is Horrible. Of course they don't have a Yelp page. There is constantly a…read moreproblem with the ATM. One week it was stuck in a Spanish only mode. We had to go elsewhere & pay a $4 fee. This week we needed to take out $400. It would only give us hundreds. Half the stores won't take a hundred dollar bills. Half the time it's out of service. The BIGGEST PROBLEM is the customer service phone system. It's OBNOXIOUS. It takes 5 minutes to get through lots of nonsense until you can pick an option for the type of help you want. The agents have told me everyone complains about it. Any company that would use that on their phone system HATES THEIR CUSTOMERS. Synovus bought out my old bank that I've used for 40 yrs and now I have to switch because half the time there's some type of problem w the ATM.
