I saw someone wearing one of their tee shirts and asked where they got it. I was in a small town in Maine for a retreat. I went to the factory store the next day and picked up two beautiful tees. One gorgeous whale and an amazing octopus design. I live in San Diego so I love wearing these at home! Fun place. I stopped in at the recommendation of some other folks and was delighted to see the bins they had containing shirts with multiple prints on them - I scored a teeshirt that had a lavender festival design on the front and some sort of fiddle jamboree design on the back. I also found a really cool country fair shirt with multiple fair designs just placed willy nilly. I also bought some local honey and tea made from sea lettuce. These made the most memorable souvenirs, I'm glad I was able to make this side trip. read more

We came here expecting the typical onslaught of Maine gifts (maple syrup, blueberry jam, refrigerator magnets shaped like lobsters, etc.) but ending up spending at least half an hour in the back room digging through misprinted t-shirts. What's so great about misprinted t-shirts, you ask? The sheer randomness! We aren't talking misspellings and crooked logos, Liberty has shirts with one design on the front, and something completely unrelated on the back. My sister scored one with a diagram of "Our Majestic Galaxy" on the front and two mules on the back. I found one with the logo for the National Cathedral in DC on one side and a lumber company's decal on the other. Shirt designs were from attractions all over the country - from nearby Acadia National Park to the San Diego Zoo. For $5 each, we had to take some of the misfortunate shirts home with us. read more

One of my friends got me a T-shirt printed from this place as a present. Not only was it beautifully printed, but I was pleased to find out that this company uses environmentally-friendly ink. I also have had problems with some printed T-shirts being damaged by heat (like a dryer on the hot setting). I wish all T-shirt printers would use inks like this; not only do they look more attractive and hold up better, but they're better for the environment as well. I also like that Liberty Graphics sells some USA-made fabrics. Although they also do have shirts made in other countries, I think it's great that they offer some domestically-produced shirts, as these can be hard to find. I also like their selection of bird print T-shirts! If you're a birder like me, you may get excited about some of these. This is a company that I would recommend checking out, even if you don't happen to live nearby (there is a lot on their website). read more

I just came home with 10 mis-print t-shirts with awesome designs from liberty graphics for $50. Yep, $5 for unique t-shirts you wont find anywhere else. Thats pretty sweet in my book. They also have 50 cent coffee's which is cheaper than anywhere. WHENEVER I visit Maine, there are two shopping places I always visit, in this order: 1. Liberty Graphics, and 2. LL Bean. read more

Liberty Graphics has been at it for 30+ years. Their shirts have been printed with eco-friendly water-based ink since the beginning. The seconds are abundant and cool and there's a great antique tool store across the street. read more
