I had to notice mistakes and call back to get them resolved. I was getting ready to switch to another company and was referred to John Sules office. It has been the type of experience I was looking for. I have only been with this office for about a month, however, the change was immediate. Friendly staff, following through, calls back and the type of office that you would expect as excellent customer service. Insurance is something you have to have, and when you need to talk to an agent, something is usually wrong and you want a sympathetic helpful person on the other end of the line. Had the representative told me if I don't cancel then my premium would go up instead of trying to sell me another plan and I swear on GOD, my mother and everything that I was told after my 10 years of paying it would cancel itself. I had a very uncomfortable experience at David Check Cashing Place of Rockland. I came in to cash a…read morelegitimate work check and was immediately treated with suspicion because of the amount on the check and the fact that I'm from NYC. While the attendant assisting me was polite, it became obvious that he was being micromanaged by what appeared to be the manager or owner. I was repeatedly questioned about why I was in the area and whether this was my first time using a David's Financial location. The situation escalated when the manager took a picture of my ID and stated he "didn't want to take the risk" cashing my check, heavily implying that I was involved in check fraud. I understand businesses have policies and fraud prevention procedures, but there's a respectful and professional way to handle those situations. Instead, I was made to feel singled out, embarrassed, and racially profiled in front of others. No customer should be made to feel like a criminal for simply cashing a paycheck they earned. I hope management reflects on how customers are approached and treated moving forward.
