This company has terrible customer service/care and policy management skills. I have had multiple billing issues with them in just over 7 months of policy ownership and no support from a agent that promised to support my needs on the policy. After multiple documented billing issues with them over last six months, and hours of income lost trying to sort out these various issues, I finally cancelled the policy and they backdated my policy cost for a document they said I did not sign back in August, creating a final cost of 7 times my monthly rate. I dispute their original premise in signing the document they wanted me to sign in the first place, which was a driver exclusion form for my 98 year old father that lives in a different state, has never lived with me in FL or own a car with me and has no valid drivers license. This has never come up before in other insurance purchases, but basically Liberty Mutual backdated a charge to me to insure my 98 year old father because they said I didn't sign the exclusion form, which was embedded in a 98 page policy packet they sent me when I opened the policy. BTW - Never heard from my agent (nor could I reach him) after making the sale even though he sold his personal service as a feature. I can't rate them low enough. read more

One they never told me my insurance was expiring in one day. I paid in advance and have always been notified by the carrier of when I should start to renew.. Not this time. My rate for 3 cars went from $6500 to over $9,000. I would not have called me either.. 3 cars, 3 drivers and zero accidents or tickets... I was not happy with my Progressive car insurance because every six months they raised thei already outrageous rates even though i have not had a single accident in my life. I called James Russel at Liberty Mutual for a quote and got one. I decided to think it over. A week later i called and said i was interested in becoming a new customer. For some reason the quote went up in that one week to $120 more a year than his previous quote. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS, THEY ARE CROOKS. I was a customer of there's for more than ten years. They have always had nasty customer service representatives but this most recent incident was beyond mind blowing. I recently moved from one state to another and subsequently had to switch policies. Not only did they mess up everything and continue both polices but they took it upon themselves to also auto withdraw from an old bank account that I signed up with over ten years ago without my permission. This decision of theirs came after the switch and because it was an account I never use it racked up a massive credit bill along with overdraft and late fees as well as interest. They not only failed to correct the issue but gave me attitude the whole time basically blaming me for their mistake, especially their escalation personnel Bianca and several others on their payroll. BUT IT GETS WORSE IF YOU CAN BELIEVE IT!!!! I got a cancellation notice out of the blue after I was assured they corrected the auto withdrawal issue so when I called they said yeah just make you payment to get caught up and you're fine it's not cancelled. I immediately payed them out of the account they already had established for auto pay and was promised it would be reinstated with no reflection on me because this was definitely their error. Fast forward after paying I was transferred to a reinstatement specialist which I found odd but okay. Only to be told we will not reinstate your insurance until we can prove it was our fault!!!! THEY CHOSE THE WRONG ACCOUNT WITHOUT MY PERMISSION THEY ARE THIEFS AND LIARS!!!! So now I'm almost an hour from home with my wife my 3yr old and 1yr and I'm being told my policy is cancelled after I just paid for it !!!!! So now I'm uninsured and it's the weekend so there's nothing I can do about it And they couldn't care less I will never use this scamming company again and I suggest you don't either. This company should not be still in business. How they are charging me months I paid and got the bank transactions and receipts from them, while they renewed my policy. To make matters worse the manager hung up on me cause I was demanding an explanation. Really incompetent bunch that does not deserve to be in business, and I will follow with the better business bureau. read more

As in a previous review I have been on hold now for 33 minutes and no response yet, just a recording, stating to go on line for faster service and answer questions, went there while waiting and no better service there either just run around the site and getting nowhere. If I could give ZERO or negative stars on a review, this company would be the one to get it. If you want to take heed to my advice, which I suggest you do, don't go with them at all. They may have better premiums on some items, but when it comes to having a claim filed (not our fault) and the motorist that hit you was uninsured, they don't care. They do the bare minimum to even help you. I spent 20 plus hours of my own time trying to take care of the issues that arose from the accident that happened on 12/22/21. Our car is being repaired now and as of today ready for pick up. I was lied to by my claims representative Quayshaun multiple times regarding my coverages, the process of reviewing fault, etc. The police officers in Green Bay, WI do not determine fault and will not do anything regarding it unless someone claims they were at fault in the accident. Long story short, they said I signed up for Uninsured / Under-Insured Motorist for Bodily Injury Only which is not the case. I have great health insurance that would cover anyone in my vehicle injured (as would anyone in my vehicle). My vehicle is blue book between 12 & 18K, why would I NOT have coverage for the property (being my vehicle)?? The app & site will not let me make changes to my plan or account. I have to call in to make changes, so anything changed on the account was done via phone by a representative. They put Bodily Injury only on the Uninsured / Under Insured Motorist portion - WHY? I have health insurance as do others that would be with me. I chose this coverage to pay for my VEHICLE damage (and my KBB value is $12-17k) by an un/under insured motorist and some idiot there put it as bodily injury. Also as my insurance company, Liberty would be responsible to recoup the injury money from the motorist. Long story short is that Quay (my claims agent) on 1/25 said if he and his supervisor agreed & denied this under Comprehensive/collision, they can put under uninsured/under insured motorist and THEY would pay Broadway auto the $2,500 Deductible directly and go after the other driver. Thursday or Friday his supervisor, Jarvis Cheney called to tell me that I was lied to and that the Uninsured portion only covers Bodily Injury (which is wrong as that is not what I signed up for over the phone). I've asked for all my calls to be pulled and listened to as proof (very few calls to them in 2020 and nothing in 21 except to remove towing package/roadside assistance because I have AAA now. DO NOT TAKE OUT COVERAGE WITH THIS COMPANY. IF YOU EVER HAVE CLAIM YOU ARE SCREWED AND THEY DON'T CRE TO HELP YOU. I've put in over 20 hours of my own time trying to get this cared for and am getting tossed around between people in claims. Then they say they will recoup their money and through subrogation mine, which can be 6-12 months. They don't give me 6-12 months to pay my premiums!! Do not allow Bridget Loring to service you! stay away! insurance was not underwritten correctly. when i got into an accident i had to pay out of pocket and then liberty mutual blames me, did not try and resolve the issue . i called multiple times to ge the run around! stay away. During one of the most trying and frustrating times in our life you would think that we would have the assistance of our agent an the big box insurance company. But NO our agent was Bridget Loring is never around and we are always referred to some guy named Daniel . Liberty mutual is a horrible company. They fail to carry common knowledge for billing questions and explain to you in detail what you will bet getting so in the event of an accident you are not blind-sided!!! This is so hurtful I am at my wits end with this company and these agents who just collect your money and look at you as a number and a file on a desk. read more
