They have a section of newly acquired records, so once you've browsed their full catalogue thoroughly, it's easy to drop in whenever you're walking by and see what's new.
They have lots of records for 5 bucks, which is something like an old movie rental price. Even if I only listen to something once, the experience is worth 5 bucks. They also have way more expensive records, like limited editions of Tom Waits or whatever, which occasionally run closer to a hundred. So there's a huge range, if you're looking to spending a tiny bit of pocket money, or if you're looking to make a major investment for your collection.
They also have books. I honestly use the library for books more than buying them, but sometime when I'm in here for vinyls, something on the bookshelf catches my eye, and the prices are fair.
It is packed, though. Sometimes where there are a lot of customers, it is very hard to move around and look for things. So much stuff in a such a small space is a double-edged sword. This 5-star review is for my visits outside of peak times, for the selection, service, and price. During peak times, maybe only worth 4 stars because it's so hard to navigate. But the popularity is a sign of the quality, so it's hard to quibble with that.
