I stopped by with a friend last Saturday and quickly found two books to take on the plane home with me the following day. I found a book that was interesting alled El Cerebro Del Futuro and I'm going to give it a try. Spanish is not native to me and I hope that this book will help me with my Spanish learning journey. Not every bookstore can offer lake views while you sit and enjoy a coffee. That's definitely the highlight of this Librería Porrúa. However, the bookstore didn't seem that well taken care of or well stocked. The books seemed older, and I was surprised that they had so few books in English since other bookstores in Mexico City typically have a pretty good selection. The bookstore seemed more of a cafe with a small bookstore, rather than the other way around. But there's lots of seating and those views are incredible. I do think there are better bookstores in Mexico City, however! Stop by if you're in the area, but I wouldn't recommend going out of your way!
