UPDATE 5/6: The Wagoneer we purchased had an issue with the key, it was not updated and the basic services were not done to it (air filter, oil) prior to us purchasing it - it was handled and we appreciate that, but now after the truck had to go back for the 3rd time to get the update it started making a noise when you turn and the vibration from 8 to 4cyl is very very noticeable. We have been waiting almost 2 weeks for the car to be able to go in to get looked at and for a loaner car. These guys were caught on camera scamming two women out of $250 to change an air filter. The video is about 10 minutes long, and Robert Ventura is the manager in the video. After getting so much backlash and negative reviews on Google Maps, they shut down their business on Google Maps, then reopened it on Google Maps, then start padding the reviews with fake 5 star reviews. They even put different navigation points on the same location to dilute the negative reviews! Friend took his car there, they charged $250 diagnostic fee, told him he needed $1700 of battery, alternator, serpentine belt ... except they also admitted a whole huge floor of 30 mechanics "actually didn't run diagnostics bc couldn't open the car bc it was dead". I brought my car to get the 2 front tires moved to the back, and the 2 back tires replaced. They were pushing me to buy 4 new tires, but I just wanted 2 new ones. After leaving my car for 4 hours at the appointment, they told me that they didn't order the tires, and asked me to come back a couple of days later. I scheduled a 2nd appointment that day. This time, when I showed up, they told me they forgot to get the tires AGAIN. They offered an apology, but weren't able to rush it. I had to leave for vacation that night, so I had no other options at that point. I left it with them to fix while I was gone. I got back from vacation today and went to the lot to check on my car....the back tire, which was totally fine other than low tread, is now completely flat, most likely from something in their yard. read more

Longtime customer. Never going back to the service department. Avoid Ruben in particular. I made a service appointment at Liccardi to get my Ford Explorer's mirror fixed before a 1,500 mile road trip that was coming up in a couple weeks. I made sure to write in the service appointment request that there was a deadline for this repair to be completed. The ford explorer has massive blindspots and is dangerous to drive without a mirror. In the past, I always worked with Danny, who has always done a decent job. This time I got Ruben as my service rep. I had never worked with him before. Ruben showed no sense of urgency to get the repairs done before the deadline. He told me that while they had appointment slots open on Thursday, that was the day they catch up on the backlog of vehicles, so I should wait for an appointment until the following Tuesday. I foolishly listened to his advice, which meant that my car was not even looked at until the following Wednesday. Ruben calls me up Thursday morning and tells me they need to replace the whole mirror (which was false, only the motor needed to be replaced), that it will be over $1000 (which is a ripoff, these mirrors are like $200, and take minutes to change), and asks me if I want an estimate for the work. I responded that I would pay the (exorbitant) price so long as the work was completed on time. Ruben says he understands. I go to pick up the car, and sure enough the mirror is still broken. I call Ruben the next day (Friday), and he says they have delayed so long they can no longer get the mirror in time, and then they will need to paint it (which is false, you can swap the painted panel from the old mirror to the new one). I then explained to Ruben that you could simply swap the motor instead of the whole mirror. He looks at some diagrams and agrees that it can be done, they can have the part by Monday, and they will do the repair for the cost of the part! Finally I thought I was getting somewhere. Ruben says he will call Monday when the part comes in. By 12pm on Monday, (the day before my trip) I still hadn't heard from Ruben. I called Liccardi, and find out it's his day off. I left a voicemail with Danny letting him know how outraged I was by the the service I received. I never heard back, and never got an apology of any kind. I will never forget how Ruben gaslit me about the repairs to the car. I may never buy a Ford again. I was able to stabilize the mirror with some super glue. The repair held for 1,500 miles and is still going strong. Thanks for nothing Ruben! read more

After reviewing the used inventory on their website, I found my daughter a white 2016 Honda Civic EXT... Made our way down, my daughter was already pre-approved thru her credit union so no need to have the dealership run her credit... Met Tony the sales guy, nice enough guy... Test drove the car, my daughter was fine with it... Then the sit down begins... Where the sheet comes out with the 4 squares (biggest dealer scam of all) where they break up the price of the car (price on the lot, not online) your financing, trade if any and so on... Price on the car is 17,500, online 13,990... Mind you the price online has fluctuated 15,559 in Jan to now 13,990... Tony writes down the 13,990, the online dept's 995.and prep 495... Apparently the online dept doesn't get paid unless a car is sold was my response, nor would they prep the used cars unless you pay for it... We went back and forward until Mike was brought in to close the deal... Now we offered 13,000 for the car, tax we understand, Motor Vehicle ok, but when a "doc fee" of 498, window etching 298 and so on comes on... We understand we're dealing with a sleazy practice that has no place in this business... I thought window etching went out in the 90s or are we still paying for undercoating too or hows about the gas in the tank? We reached the point where we got very close to my daughter number, but we asked for a minute and my daughter said, "I'm not buying a car from these people, they're douchebags" I wasn't arguing her point she had every right... Buyer beware, watch those fees, doc fee shouldn't go beyond $75 consult a lawyer on that if I'm mistaken... If you're a woman, I feel for you... They'll take advantage is my opinion... If I could give negative stars I would!!!! Purchased a Ford Explorer, the drivers side heated seat was broken during delivery and a few other issues. Our salesman Terrance stated he would make an appt with service to have it fixed. He did not, so we ended up having to speak with Mike D the manager who wrote down all the complaints and scheduled our appt. He assured us they would look at it and take care of it all. The dealership has had our car going on 2 weeks now, not 1 issue has been taken care of. When I finally got in touch with service they told me they were attempting to have the repairs paid for thru the extn warranty company. One has nothing to do with the other, the issues were there from the beginning. These issues were there from the beginning, not a new found issue. Oh and before we dropped it off the check engine light came on, that is NOT fixed either. The dealership has had my vehicle longer than I have since date of purchase and nothing is rectified. This dealership is by far the SHADIEST and most DECEITFUL!!! We attempted to purchase a 66k expedition max. The call takers said "yup the truck is here and quoted the msrp as the sales price." When pressed to send a contract the dealership proceeded to add a 3k market adjusted price for low inventory. The manager Mike said wouldn't you sell your house for the most the market will pay? I wished Mike a Merry Christmas and simply declined to pay above MSRP on a new car. Mike wished us a happy holiday by hanging up abruptly. Idk where to start! Such a bad place! I bought a 2019 f150 with 41k miles on it! Bought it outright, and 2 weeks late the A/c isnt working! And the radio wouldnt update! When i bring ot back for my plate they tell me i need a new compressor. It took them 3 months and many trips and hours away from my job and home (an hour away) when it came to the radio the told me they would take care of it! Now fast forward months late, i need a 1200$ part for my radio and other issues are happening! Ive tried calling them, and like always no phone call back! Real nice way to treat your costomers! After they came back with the first offer I asked to leave but since they had my keys from assessing my trade in they wouldn't let me leave. I went 40 mins out of my way to go look at the car and was trying to beat traffic but they didn't want to give me my keys back. They wouldn't get close to the listed price so I decided to pass and finally was able to leave. I tired again to work a deal out with the salesman via text and asked to get closer to the listed prices as in the ad but they wouldn't do it so I told him no thank you. BUYERS BEWARE!!! So i made a appointment (03/12/22) to see the 2016 GMC Denali stock # F14816 priced at $36,990 . I get there & speak to the sales man explain to him I'm approved thru my credit union with a 2.8 apr & he sets me up to test drive the truck , i test drive & come back n inspect the truck & find something's that broken & bad tires & a few misc items that i was willing to deal with. I go inside to talk to the guys about everything n talk numbers , so this is where my issue stems from , truck is priced at $36,990 , i understand taxes, dmv fee's , document fee's. So sales man calls the sales manager to sit down with me n negotiate prices so they break it down n they add the above + $3000 for tires & back window repairs not including broken center console & charging area scratched beyond repaired & they tact on another $2000 " No Finance fee " since I'm not using them to finance which i find to be weird but i explained to them I'll take it as is if they drop the $3000 fee & i would finance with them as long as they got me a 3%/3.5% apr n they still said no cause they were up side down on the truck because they paid $47,000 which to me isn't the buyers problem or put it for sale at the price you really wanna sell it for , so basically i tried negotiating in there favor 3 times n both sales managers didn't care & Supposedly GM said there's nothing to go cause there losing. These guys are scammers & if you gonna buy from them don't be approved outside there banks cause they gonna tact on an extra $5000 in " there fee's ". We were in touch on a Thursday for a specific vehicle for sale. Friday the sales person, Lisa, confirmed our appointment. We texted her and she replied ok that she would see us on Saturday at 11 am. We drove 70 miles to the dealership. Arrived and were told that someone put a deposit on that vehicle yesterday. I was absolutely angry. I tried to talk to the "manager". He never stood up, introduced himself or anything. He spoke down to me because I was upset and told us to leave. If I could choose no stars I would. Awful dealership. I offered the sticker price and that was not good enough for them. They first tried to get me to pay for etching and $3000 for reconditioning, meaning pay for what they went through to certify the vehicle. I told them I was not going to pay it, I just want to pay the full sticker price and be done. They said that was unacceptable and that the lowest they could do was $1700 on top of the sticker price. What a scam. These are the hard facts, no exaggeration. Their extended warrant was so over priced as well, which is why I passed on that too. It was much more than what Ford offered. So glad I walked away. I then read the reviews and wanted to kick myself for not reading about them before I traveled 1.5 hrs. to test drive and then back a second time to purchase it, which did not transpire. Unfortunately, they do not tell you until you are with Finance that they charge an additional % for using a credit card. If you need your car serviced, like I did after just 2 months, go to another Ford Dealership and not this one. Do not go here! I cannot describe the level of poor service, poor communication, and disorganization. My car has needed service now for over a month, I left it with them for 7 hours and when I called to follow up, I was told that it needed a part. It took more than the one day I was told it would take to get the part (It took 1 week) and the appointment I made with them to have the car fixed somehow disappeared from their calendar. Worst car dealership I have ever been to in NJ. Bought a 2014 Raptor with one owner on the CarFax that crapped out less than a month after I drove it off these clowns' lot. Engine is shot, not even 1,000 miles put on it, bought with a little over 92k miles. They did not offer to do anything about the situation because the vehicle was sold as is. I am now stuck with a brick until I can pay the $10k to replace the engine from my local mechanic btw. They did not offer any type of assistance or help with the situation. To make matters absolutely worse, they call me about a month after the whole fiasco, about 2 months after purchase to let me know that my plates are finally in. Yes, for a whole month after they were informed that the truck was a brick, and a whole month after the temporary registration expired that I can go pick up my plates. Buyer Beware! If I could post zero stars I would. I saw a car I was interested in posted online for what I felt was a good price. I drove an hour to test drive it and was interested in purchasing it. The salesperson went in to speak to the Finance Manager and came out with a piece of paper listing final price to take it off the lot. It was a lot higher than their advertised price. It showed how they came up with this price. They added a $1600 reconditioning fee, and $995.00 for me to pay their internet advertising fee. There may have been other charges, but I lost interest after seeing this rip-off. I don't even know what the reconditioning fee is for because all four tires were about 80% worn and one tire had very low pressure, as shown on the dash. Also, the brake assist light was on indicating it needed service. The cherry on top was the insultingly low price they offered for my trade-in. This isn't a matter of me thinking my car is worth more than it is, because two other dealerships offered me three times the trade-in value Licardi would pay. You may ask why I didn't buy the car at one of the other dealerships. The cars were fine, the price was a little higher than I expected, but not terrible, it's just that they weren't the right car for me. Since I'm not under pressure to purchase a car, I will continue to search for the right one. I can tell you with certainty it will NOT be purchased from Licardi Ford. read more
