On my most recent trip, I was picked up by Sam's Cab, featuring an old and beaten up minivan, uncharacteristic of the new and well kept vehicle I was expecting from Datta. Instead of helping me and picking up my bags, the driver opted to pick up another fare! Not only did I have to share my taxi ride with a stranger, I was charged a fare for BOTH my sister and myself (Datta charges per person as well, but the ridiculousness here is exacerbated by the additional pickup). Did I end up taking a bus instead of a taxi?! Unfortunately, these practices are standard in Chambana for students traveling from campus to the airport and back. 5/5 for Datta if you win the taxi lottery. 1/5 if you lose. 3/5 overall.
