I'm not from the area, but stopped in while passing this town. The place looked pretty grubby, but I was starving. I decided to just get some fries for myself and my boy, to hold us til we could get something healthy, because there was nothing even remotely healthy on the menu here.
We ordered two orders of fries, and it cost over 10 dollars. And I'm not talking large orders, either. Small enough that a 2 year old easily finished it, and was still hungry. The rest of the menu was equally high priced.I decided that between the lack of healthy options(deep fried food or ice cream, and that's pretty much it) and the prices we were done.
The taste was good enough. Nothing that makes me want to have it again, or try to duplicate it at home. Very salty.
As the other reviewer, said, lots of garbage in the parking lot. And not "customer" garbage either. Pop cases everywhere, other food cases. Its like they just toss their garbage out the door and let the wind take it. By the way, the parking lot was also in really bad shape. I was luckily in a pickup, but if you had a car you might damage it in a frost boil or a rut in the mud. It doesn't look like this place gets any maintenance or cleaning, inside or out.
At least the staff was nice enough to discuss everything they've seen on facebook that day, loudly enough for the entire restaurant to hear.
You could eat at a much higher quality restuarant for these prices, and a cleaner one too. read more
