This location isn't the largest they have, but it seems to have more stuff than the other locations which are larger in size. Something I find strange! The Spanish have strange ingredients. I often wonder how they can cook with the food supplies their given! I certainly can't bake, I have to go to the american store to find baking supplies. But... here is cheaper and they have sauerkraut. A very important ingredient for sandwiches! And they have one type of bread made without sugar that I can only find here. And it's the ONLY, I repeat ONLY supermarket that doesn't stink of fish! Bad reviews to come about the smell of fish.

But I particularly love this place for 1 reason and 1 reason only... they now sell Cool Ranch Doritos. Labelled "cool creme cheese". I have no idea why the europeans are terrified of the word Ranch. It will always be "cool ranch doritos". Not "cool doritos" like in England, or "cool creme cheese" like in spain. But no matter what the label.. I come here for my fix. If you need sandwich meats... here is much better than anywhere else. Mercadona sells only bologna pink sludge type filler meats. But at spar... you will find a better quality. But one they they are lacking... the Mercadona advertising song. Mercadon on na... Mercadon on na... dooo do doo doo doo do do dooo doo doo. Now that darn song is in my head. ARG!

Holy Crap! I just bought a shedload of British and American groceries. I have cool ranch Doritos…read more.. yea... that's right. I'm saving them for my Saturday hangover. All 3 bags! Now what usually happens, is that you see a section in a grocery store for the brits or americans. Or even a specialty shop for the goods, and all you find is Heinz ketchup or mayo. Umm... they have that in grocery stores everywhere. So usually when I go to these shops, I get boned up for some stuff... and I don't have anything but cake mix and ketchup. Same shit you find everywhere. But this place actually had things that I miss. Hula hoops, cool ranch doritos, hershey bars, hot wing sauce, etc. The only thing that would have topped this trip off is if they had some diet A&W rootbeer and extra hot encona sauce. I'm very impressed with this place, and will be a regular shopper. Also... oddly the prices are super cheap. Normally you spend 1,000,000 for a thing of bisto. But here, it's prices cheaper than you would buy in London. I'm a happy girl!

That being said, I have caught it closed a few times around 2am. Someone must have gotten tired! he he. But it's a nice little convenient store when in need. If I can't be asked to run to the big supermarket for something... i'll pop here where it's situated very close to home. The prices aren't as markedup as normal mini shops. Not to mention there aren't many little convenient stores in Las Palmas. It's my little emercency need shop!

The soda that should have been international but for some odd reason didn't make it. But you can also get baking necessities like corn starch. This location is a lot smaller than is sister store on Calle Luis Doreste Silva, 73. But the location is close to my flat so I make the trip here for often, and when I need Franks Wing Sauce... I make the trip to the other store. So go on admit it... the reason these stores are popular is cause the American and Brits have amazing products. I never saw a Spanish store in America or the UK. Just saying.
