This center runs a lot of life coaching and holistic medicine but I can only comment on the yoga studio aspect. This is my first yoga studio visit in Australia and I am pretty impressed with the diversity of yoga instructors and the varied practiced happening in this small studio. I have attended the donation classes both Wednesday and Thursday (12:30pm, 1 hour) for the last four months and think it's great. It is usually a Hatha yoga class that focuses on core strength, something we all need, but sometimes you get a sub who will do a lot of moon salutations or chest openers, all good. Be sure to enter the building on the St John's Road side through a small door and up the staircase. It's easy to miss. read more

A beautiful yoga studio that has kind hearted teachers. They give variations on poses in class and really connect the mind and spirit in this traditional practise. I love how some of the teachers even sprtiz essential oils or light incense at the end of class during savasana. Class it set up in a gorgeous hall like place (although not too big, fits around 20 people) with double height ceilings and stained wooden floors. A beautiful atmosphere. Only downside is this place does not cater to a students budget-- very expensive ($30 casual)!! You can save money from buying 10 classes at a time but even then it is $22 a class and a student doesn't just have a spare $220 in the kitty! read more
I really want to give this place a better review, but I had kind of multiple bad experiences here (2/3 instructors whom I didn't like at all). I do have to give a shout out to Lara Zilibowitz who does deserve a 5 star rating though. If you get a chance, go to her class! She is awesome and instructs a great mental/physical yoga workout. As for why I'm rating low otherwise, I had taken some classes with instructors who I felt didn't embody the concept of yoga well. Maybe I'm just that snobby yoga hippie from San Francisco that believes yoga should be an exercise of positive mind, body, and spirit, and in no way should anyone be allowed to make you feel inadequate in class. It's my belief that we should push ourselves to our own limits and if we can't, we shouldn't be berated or pointed out for what we can't do or can't do well. I understand the instructors' point of view for wanting to do so in order to help correct our form and whatnot, but, honestly, if I'm feeling more stressed or angry during my yoga sessions, it's a bad sign. I've been practicing for almost 2 years, have been to over 10 yoga studios around the world and have had multiple instructors... none of which have irritated me as much as the ones here. If it weren't for Lara I would give this place a 1 star review. That being said though, I only went to 3 instructors here for their fabulous 2 week free trial, so my hope is that there are more instructors like Lara to support this studio. The studio itself is a really nice space and I do recommend giving the 2-week free trial a shot! read more
