So many wonderful things to list about Shoreline Calvary but I'll just mention only a few…read more 1- The solid teaching system of the Bible: Book by book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse, leaving nothing out because that's the LORD'S instruction letters, regardless whether we want to hear it or not. 2- The love the church shows towards each other and the community, in sickness and in health, for richer or for poor, when a family has a new baby or need help moving... 3- The humble-hearted, approachable, God-fearing, pastor Ed, who makes himself no better than others and coming from being a missionary himself, his love for missionaries around the world is no secret. After the Sunday service is over I can't wait for the following Sunday morning to return and "meet with my family". We use to be open to come and pray anytime during daytime hours and light a candle.... But they have kept it closed to the public except for Sunday services. Mission in San Luis is open to the public during the day and St. Timothy should be as well. I was baptized at this church and spent my whole life going here until the new priest took over. So very very sad.
