This added a lot of stress to what was supposed to be a supportive space. Overall, I found her unprofessional and unreliable. I cannot speak for the other therapists at this practice, but I would strongly caution anyone considering Robin as a therapist based on my experience.

However, people need to be able to still find a good therapist and if you don't know what to look for, this can be a starting point. The reason I chose them is because I liked the varied levels of experience. For me an LPC Associate is no different from an LPC, but you get to choose. Each therapist shares a little bit about themselves and their background to help you decide which is the right fit. I was deciding between an Associate and a fully licensed therapist and it was one line on the therapists profile that made me think this was a good match. She has been very straightforward, helpful, and helps me get out of my head, especially when things have gotten tough and because of her, I can pick up on my patterns of when things are too stressful for me, which I don't know if I could do before on my own, because I was too close to the situation to take a step back and think...oh I can change this. I think they're a hidden gem and pretty much in demand, which makes there services better. Due to my hectic life, the video sessions best fit me, but in person sessions are available, they just don't suit me for now. They have several locations, speak Spanish, and help you if you're in crisis. I can't recommend them enough. After Eight Years: My Experience as a High‑Risk Psychiatric Patient…read more I have been a high‑risk psychiatric patient at Stone Creek since 2017. In May 2024, my therapist and I agreed via email to a follow‑up appointment. I disputed a $330 "no‑show" fee that was charged after a miscommunication around that appointment, and asked repeatedly--calmly and in writing--for direct communication and a resolution. At the same time, I was grieving my father's death and undergoing a medically high‑risk psychotropic taper supervised by my psychiatric nurse practitioner. My diagnoses include Bipolar I Disorder, Complex PTSD, Psychogenic Non‑Epileptic Seizures (PNES), and chronic migraine. My providers have documented that even minor stress can trigger seizures and clinical deterioration for me. Over the next several weeks, continuity of care effectively collapsed. Emails went unanswered or were routed through non‑clinical front desk staff. I was told my therapist "does not read" client emails. I repeatedly requested written communication only due to my seizure risk, but continued to receive phone calls instead of clear, direct responses in writing. When I requested my clinical records so I could safely transfer care, I encountered delay after delay. As of this writing, it has been months and I still do not have a complete copy of my treatment records from Stone Creek. I have since transitioned to a new therapist at a different practice, where email is used appropriately, records requests are handled promptly, and my documented medical risks are taken seriously. The contrast has been stark. Restoring Hope has also consistently worked with us financially--with and without insurance--to make care affordable in a way Stone Creek never did. I am sharing this experience specifically for other medically complex, high‑risk patients who are considering Stone Creek for psychiatric care. In my experience, this practice was not set up to provide reliable, coordinated care during a high‑risk taper, nor to handle conflicts and records requests in a timely, clinically appropriate way. I am still waiting for said records.
