Guess what I found a Charity and they came and took everything on 5/19. My billing went from 5/15-6/14, and they charged me my monthly rate of 158.00.(3 days) Over 3 years Big Jims has made a small fortune off of us $5688.00. but still took their 158.00. They are the only company out of the 5 that I contacted to have the fully web/mobile capable quote system that make the planning easy. Corey was on top of things - follow up was timely and excellent. The 3 guys who actually did the move were experienced movers - I could simply tell by watching them how they prepared the items, handle the furniture and large and small items. Also, by looking at the inside the truck - how they packed things for easy retrieval, were a good sign. They are very careful not to break things but at the same time, move things quickly to get the job down within the initial quote. They moved 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo contents from downtown Sarasota to a house that is 40 minutes away in Myakka. Very pleased with the results. I would definitely hire them again.

They forced me to sign for double the time or they won't continue, they left so much stuff behind that I listed for the estimate - I had to hire another moving company to pick those things up next day (the other company was amazing compared to this one). Guys had no gas when they showed up to the job. Horrible - everything - would never ever use this company again. When I reached out about my experience I was told they don't care. I am a single mother and that was the only money I had set aside for the move - they charged me 1k more than the estimate and had to pay 600$ to other moving company for the stuff they left behind. The movers arrived right on time and took care with my items. I was moving from a storage unit into my new home so everything was pre-packed. They were careful with all of the boxes and extra careful with the furniture, wrapping those items in blankets and plastic wrap. When they arrived to my home, they took the same care unloading as they took when loading the items. They checked with me where I wanted everything and carefully placed it inside. There was no damage and all were very friendly. They got the job done quickly, which was also appreciated. I highly recommend them for your local moves!
