Stephanie was really flexible up until the actual shoot date- I changed the date and the time twice! Once we met, at Sand Key Park/Beach, she was relaxed and easy going. She gave us lots of great suggestions, but was never really bossy - it was friendly, gentle, and she was exceptionally kind with our little children (6 and 8). The eight year old is a wild child, and the other is a slow and steady type who is very interested in photography, and Stephanie was so willing to talk with him about it (and even let him take her picture). My partner, who dreaded the experience but went along with it to make me happy, found the experience to be much better than he imagined it would be. Stephanie gave us great suggestions for relaxed and informal poses, never making us feel awkward or forced, which is great. She was really professional, but also totally accessible. The photos themselves are stunning! She did a great job of capturing the essence of my children, and the thing that I ultimately wanted - a photo of the four of us!
