There really are no words to explain what a positive, amazing experience we had with liz being our wedding photographer. It started with our engagement shoot, which may I mention was my husband and I's first time behind the camera. She made us feel so incredibly comfortable, told us exactly how to pose while still making the pictures look so incredibly natural and candid. The photos came back in a timely fashion and we were blown away. Liz then designed our save the dates and wedding invites which surpassed any expectations I had. To top it all off she photographed our wedding day from start to finish while barely taking a second to sit. The photos she took that day are more than that, they are the most beautiful memories we will ever have of our day. We couldn't wait to shoot with Elizabeth with Black Pineapple photography! We did one year anniversary pictures (I was looking for any excuse to shoot with her once I saw her gorgeous photos online) and we collaborated on an urban bridal session. I loved being able to be come up wth ideas and send them to her ahead of time. On the day of the shoot she remembered all the shots I wanted to capture. I was super impressed! My husband and I got photos taken at the beach for our 5 year anniversary. Liz was super accommodating and relaxed. We are generally pretty awkward with poses and taking pictures, but she helped us and gave us poses to do (Lord knows we weren't going to think of anything cool). She picked the location and it turned out to be a great spot. I loved how easy it was, it only took a couple minutes for us to warm up and be ourselves. We got the pictures SO QUICKLY and they are beautiful!! She's got skills and she loves what she does. My family and I were on vacation a few weeks ago in Florida and we needed a photographer to capture both larger group photos, and intimate photos of just our immediate family. Since we live in California I had to go on a limb and book an unknown photographer based on the portfolio and reviews. We hired Liz and from beginning to end she was delightful to work with. She was always prompt getting back to me, made it easy to schedule our session, and answered all my questions leading up to the session. So come the day of photos, it was pouring rain! She still drove down to our hotel, waited for a beautiful window, when the rain stopped, captured some gorgeous photos of our entire family. We are beyond thrilled with the outcome. I wish we lived locally and could use Liz again more regularly; maybe the next time we come out to Florida! Liz is truly a talented photographer and also a sweet and kind personality to work with. My family and I were on vacation from Ohio and wanted to get some pictures taken. I chose Liz based on others reviews and pics she had taken and also her very reasonable prices. Scheduling was easy and she always was quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had. When the day came we were to get pics taken a storm came over AMI just before our scheduled appt. We had plans already for the rest of the week and couldn't really reschedule the shoot. Liz was kind enough to wait out the storm and proceed with the shoot after it had passed, snapping pics thru the remaining few sprinkles. She made the shoot very easy and fun for our family. A couple days after the shoot we had already received some sneak peeks and the photos were great. Looking forward to seeing the rest in the coming weeks. My wedding photographer was a nightmare (long story short) and unbeknownst to my surprise the videographer hired Elizabeth to shoot stills. We very much appreciated her laid back demeanor, very calm, and so helpful. If your husband is anything like mine he hates taking professional pictures. He feels awkward and doesn't know how to pose and needs direction. Liz provides this and works with your vision and creative to achieve the shot/shots you want. We just loved how calm she is and extremely skilled! I was beyond grateful to find out she captured the photos she did. I love them so much. Liz was great to work with. I found her on Yelp when searching for a photographer for my parent's 50th wedding anniversary vow renewal ceremony. I had reached out to three highly rated photographers (from Yelp) in the Sarasota area and was pleased with the personalized response that I received from Liz rather than a canned response to the inquiry. I hired her from Connecticut without meeting her in person and we couldn't have been happier. She was quick with her responses to me and was fun to work with at the ceremony. We were in Siesta Key for my mom's 70th and at the last minute decided to get her a family photo shoot as a present. I spent some time researching local photographers and chose Liz based on her good reviews, reasonable pricing and the great pics on her website. We didn't want to have to pick some sort of package. We just wanted a quick shoot and to be able to get the digital files so we could print the photos on our own. Elizabeth is an INCREDIBLE photographer and an absolute joy to work with! She has a wonderful eye and caught some truly special moments during our family photo session.
