DO NOT GO HERE. They do not care about patients, only money. Check your explanation of benefits to see how shady it is the amount the bill your insurance for an hour. Their therapists leave frequently and the doctors schedule 3-month follow ups but then the company will drop you after 2. then you must do the whole intake process again! My son went here for therapy and things were great in the beginning. Recently, the therapist felt like a more intense program was needed and they referred us to an intensive outpatient program at High Focus. After a couple weeks there, the program wasn't making any difference, but more importantly we had a medical concern that we were not able to come to an agreement on how to address. We pulled my son after 2 weeks and figured we would return to LifeBack where we felt they would guide us toward our next steps in this journey. Instead, they said they couldn't provide us any care and wished us well. The problem is, we needed help with medication management and finding a replacement therapy option. We had no idea my son would be left without these critical resources. This is unprofessional, unethical and dangerous. It is no wonder there is a mental health crisis when the providers can so easily just dismiss patients without a proper handoff of their care! read more

I recently transitioned from a program setting where I was working with Anna weekly over 6 weeks. I was interested in following up with her privately through Lifeback. I had an established relationship with her and she had been managing my medications; therefore, I was looking for a smooth transition. When I called to schedule, Lifeback insisted that I do a full, personal intake with one of "their therapists" before I could even schedule or talk to Anna. I have a private therapist who I have been seeing for years. I said that rather than do a phone intake I was happy to fill out paperwork (as is done whenever you visit a new doctor or specialist) or sign a release for my therapists from the program or my personal therapist to speak with them, but they insisted that I had to do a full phone intake before I could speak with Anna. I eventually gave in and scheduled a phone "intake" which I found to be extremely uncomfortable and personal, despite how nice the person was. To make it even more awkward, when I signed onto the call I was immediately asked if someone who hadn't heard an intake before could "listen in" to the conversation via cell phone speaker. I agreed to it for a few minutes before I realized how weird it felt. (The counselor immediately respected my request to terminate the third party listening.) I still don't even know what the third party's title was. When I expressed my desire to terminate the entire intake itself, as I found it to be triggering and distressing, the counselor said that the director of the program would "call me" to discuss "other options". I did not receive a call back by the end of the day. Based on my experience, I do not trust Lifeback and will not work with them. The lack of sensitivity of the practice and rigidity of their policies astonishes me. It breaks my heart to no longer work with Anna, who is one of the most talented, compassionate, and sensitive practitioners I have ever worked with. Frankly, I am surprised that she works here rather than having her own practice. I also do NOT blame the intake counselors for this experience. I feel that this is a matter of higher management. Please explore your options for private counselors before going through a major "company" where I truly felt like I was just a number passing through their system. Lifeback itself essentially gave me the choice of "our way or the highway", leaving me without options for medication management unless I adhered to an unnecessary, stressful and triggering intake. At this time of uncertainty and change I feel that practices need to be more flexible than ever. Lifeback has not yet stepped up to the plate. Their statement of "everyone being unique" was not reflected whatsoever in my experience. I am sure that I will get a response from Lifeback directly regarding this unfortunate review and I am more than happy to speak with them. Update: The counselor (not the director) called me with a followup. Apparently an intake is required by the state. I guess that Lifeback is a state run facility? And that absolutely no other recent intakes qualify? Or that this regulation is not waived given I have an established relationship with a provider within the practice? These were probably questions that could easily have been answered by "the state". Maybe it would have taken the director a few minutes but it would have made a world of difference to me. It certainly would have been less distressing than a 45 minute intake where I was required to tell my life story to a stranger for the 4th time in 2 months. I am not bothering to follow up more closely given that I have returned to my previous provider. As I said I will miss Anna. read more

I see Anna the nurse practitioner and she is wonderful. She got my meds right the first time around. She takes time to listen and cares about your wellbeing. I feel like a person and not a number with her. I never have to wait more than 5 or 10 minutes and if by some chance I have to in the future, she is definitely worth the wait. Dr. K and some other doctors should absolutely have there license s revoked. Almost filed a state board complaint. You don't tell a suidial patient not to skip there appointment because you have more important patient to attend to. I should have reported u. I will always regret it read more

I was going for several years because I was suffering from depression. Dr. M was great, I could at least get up in the morning under her care. Then she left and I got Dr. K, she didn't have a clue about my issues I am sure she never even looked closely at my file. I was taking anti-depressants and she just walked me out the door one day which stopped my getting my anti- depressants. I have insurance and was paid up so money wasn't the issue. Been having a lot of personal problems lately. read more

This place is an absolute joke! My boyfriend has paid $250 for an initial appointment which lasted all of 20 minutes, only to have now 3 appointments schedueled 2 weeks apart from each other cancelled. We have called on numerous occasions to speak with a supervisor or manager only to get the run around. We have also requested a refund, at which time we are put on hold for ridiculous periods of time to then have someone come back on the phone trying to make "arrangements" to rescheduel an appointment. They refuse to give him an appointment that works around the scheduel he specified during the 1st visit and also refuse to give even a partial refund. This is absurd! His life desperatly depends on seeking treatment and once they got payment they've completly neglected his needs. I would never suggest anyone go here unless they are suicidal and in dire need to feel neglected enough to just go through with it! The though that anyone could be so heartless as to blatantly disregard the obvious attempts of a desperate person seeking help is utterly disgusting! read more
