I went to have blood work and an ecg this morning. After the technician took 6 viles of blood, she gave me a coton to put pressure on it. The sign behind her indicated it should be held 3-5 minutes. After a few seconds, she brought me in to have the ecg done. She told me to take everything off from the waist up, and gave me a paper sheet to cover myself, and left the room. Blood from my arm began squirting everywhere. I tried using the sheet to stop the bleeding. She came back in and saw what was happening, and tried to help clean up the blood on me. I said to her "I guess you didn't give me enough time to put pressure on it." I think she needs to have more training, as this was totally unacceptable.
