Someone just finished at the check-in, so they attended me after 30 secs. The check-in process only took about 1 min. There is a computer monitor showing the patients and approximate wait time, including anyone with an appointment; there was one patient scheduled at 08:15. There are 4 cubicles. Cubicle 4 has a door that closes and has a medical bed. I was asked to go into cubicle 4 at 08:24. The technician started at 08:29. I finished at 08:32. I was told that Saturdays are their busiest day but starting at 10:00. I'm glad I came early. There were three technicians, one of whom handled the reception. There is a fourth person who seems to only do administration. The lab is wheelchair accessible.There is no free WiFi. There is one gender-neutral washroom, which is wheelchair accessible. She hasn't entered me into their local system yet, but assured me she will enter people in the order she received the requisitions! At 11:26, the receptionist finally entered the requisitions. I always get lightheaded when I get blood drawn, and when I told this to my nurse Christine she made time for me to lay down so that I didn't faint, and finished the process so quickly that I was affected less that usual. While I was waiting several regular patients came in that the staff had a friendly report with, which was nice to see. Thanks for being kind and taking care of the neighbourhood!

I can still take the ride there and sit around for an extra 2 hours but have to pay $40 for a taxi home. They 'bumped' my appointment. When I called back after trying to re-arrange my rides they accused me of being rude and swearing. I did hang-up on them. Do seniors really need to be bullied and pushed to the end of the line?
