Went here to get checked out due to pain from a motor vehicle accident. Everyone except the doctor,…read moreGeoffrey Dunn, worked for me. The doctor was racist and treated me as such. When I mentioned a medical issue, he claimed he reviewed medical information relating to it when Kaiser doesn't even have that information. A doctor in a completely different state has it. Whenever they don't want to give you pain medication that works, they prescribe Gabapentin. I politely declined it and would rather be in pain than take that medication again. Doctors are always trying to use Gabapentin for issues it was never intended for, especially when you're Black and they don't want to give you prescription pain meds. I hate Kaiser and this location is no exception. It's always hit or miss with their urgent care doctors. Medical racism is very real. Edited to add that a manager called me to discuss the situation. She said she would have a conversation with the doctor and offered no solutions aside from seeing a primary care doctor. We all know that Kaiser's wait to see a doctor can be long, so the call was pointless in my opinion. I remain in pain with no resolution for it.

For pain they never find anything wrong and told me I can leave. I had to demand an imaging referral and once again they found nothing wrong. Just continue being in pain for several was their solution, take ibuprofen. The PCP told me I was fine after requesting a skin cancer exam. When I finally had decent insurance a few months later with a non-Kaiser PPO plan, I went to a dermatologist where 4 sites tested positive with a biopsy and needed to be surgically removed. Kaiser would never have followed up with any tests. Do not use this hospital system. They charge high monthly rates then save money by reducing your services. You will not receive good healthcare at Kaiser.

Their support group for loved ones has taken me from the depths of despair to sanity and the ability to get on with my life. Their no nonsense approach requires the addict be ready to commit to the program; you can't just drop your loved one off there like taking your car to the repair shop. But for those truly willing to do the work to recover it's a Godsend. My son was addicted to nitrous oxide. After Treehouse he started his own support group for that unique drug, that has now grown to over 100 members. He's also been instrumental in generating the bill that is now before Congress to limit the sale of that drug in convenience stores. I credit Treehouse's holistic approach of drug education, physical discipline and psychology as well as the camaraderie they instill, with putting them head and shoulders above their competitors. I don't know of any other program that compares. - A grateful mom

When I began looking for help, there was not a whole lot of information availa6ble and there still isn't...I hope my honest review will help others find the help they need and avoid any of the difficulties that I endured . First of all, Doris at the front desk is very rude.. I thought it was just me at first that she looked down on, but I started noticing that she treated all clients this way. Dont expect to have a conversation about anything regarding your appointment or basic pleasantries with her, However, she seemed very pleasant ( flirtatious on one occasion) to the sales men that came in while I was waiting to be seen. My first encounter with Dr Bahl, was pleasant although he was a bit nosey with his questions concerning my finances. I later learned that not everyone was charged the same for the same services rendered. I never saw him again until my last and final visit, where he made it very clear his motivation is money. I was told that Myspace attendance was poor and that I had yet to see a therapist and so I would not be welcomed back. I agree I did have a few cancelled appointments, I lived 45 minutes away and with the traffic I had also been late a few times. However, I had valid reasons, including documentation showing I was in the hospital er and the most recent being a teachers strike that left me without childcare. Dr. Bahl reprimanded me for my missed appointments, stating that he still had to pay his employees and that my abscences hurt his business financially, however, he not only hadn't lost any money due to my missed appointments, he made more money by charging me additional fees for the missed appointments. To be clear, i was not only charged for the appointments missed but I was also charged cancellation fees, which I paid. In regards to me not seeing his therapist, at the beginning I was told the therapist was taking some time off and then I was told there was no therapist employed at the time and there hadn't been until recently and even then he/she was not available on the days I was being scheduled to come in. In my opinion Dr. Bahl is only motivated by money and he lacks any compassion for the people seeking help. During my time there I was seen by Brooke and this is the reason I am giving the place 2 stars and not 3. Brooke is a wonderful, helpful and compassionate doctor and I have nothing but positive itthings to say about my time with her. I am unsure of what the charges are if you have medical insurance but as a cash paying client I was charged $300 a month where as a family member who startegoinqexg there six months prior to me was only being charged $150 for the same services.

I did the tele visit in January and the operator insisted I pay more than my usual co pay, which I agreed to because I was sick and needed to see someone. Next issue from the week prior was my wife's visit. She paid in person yet is still receiving notices that she has an open balance. Typically if you have an open balance for more than two months you get sent to collections. This is my biggest concern. We went in person to show our receipts to the receptionist, Jolene, who seemed very helpful. She told us someone would be giving us a call in the next day or two. The people were very friendly when my wife went to urgent care, but having these billing issues still unresolved two months later is unacceptable. I can still recommend going to get decent care here but if this isn't resolved and we are incorrectly sent to collections, this will easily slip into nightmare territory. Lastly I want to note that my previous unflattering review was removed.
