We walked into an EMPTY urgent care and explained to the woman behind the desk why we were there. She states they were getting ready to go to lunch and we could come back at 1:15. I asked 'we need to make an appointment at urgent care'? And she said well it's first come first serve so it's not necessarily an appointment. I looked at my daughter and said forget it we will go to the emergency room and we walked out. Disgusting behavior from an 'urgent care' that says you accept walk ins. Having to go to the emergency room cost me a 400 copay. Your staff should be ashamed of themselves.

Thankfully, ZoomCare allows you schedule an appointment at a moment's notice, so I was able to get in to be seen, get my paperwork filled out and in order, at the eleventh hour! Big thanks to Dr. James Stupfel, PA-C, who was friendly, welcoming, helpful, knowledgeable, assuring, and personable. If I didn't have a PCP, I would absolutely visit him for everything, based on his calm, professional demeanor. Very recommended for anyone who unsure of using a fly-by-night, last minute healthcare provider. People like him give credit to ZoomCare, and the healthcare industry in general, at a time when people have begun to (rightfully) question our broken, predatory system. I would recommend him to others, in a (calm, steady, measured) heartbeat!

They don't keep track of their work, and they never complete a _simple_ cleaning in 1, One, visit. The scheduling and communication here are the worst I have ever experienced. A dentist/Dr here actually lectured me, ME, The Patient, for 20 minutes while I was in the chair, because I did not know exactly which of my teeth were not cleaned during the first visit, at which time the work should have been completed in the first place. There was also Much loud complaining about co workers in front of me by Dr Temper Tantrum. Somebody with a doctorate should be more mature than this. Today, visit #3, somebody in back decided my cleaning was completed during the first visit #1. I went to appointment#3 today, and they said the job was completed, and sent me home 20 minutes after scheduled time still sitting in the waiting area. THE CLEANING HAS NOT BEEN COMPLETED, AND I KNOW THIS BECAUSE THE DR YELLED AT ME ABOUT IT DURING VISIT# 2.-just sent me home angrily without finishing the job. I always show up on-time. I am in good standing as of this review. I am an excellent patient. I have been Too Nice. It feels as if they are perhaps using tactics to over-schedule, then turn away patients for some reason, even though they know they are not supposed to...? SHAME ON YOU SEA MAR. Good job a way to help our community by letting everybody die because you don't care.

This review is based on my visit to the Ophthalmology clinic in October 2025…read more The doctor was fine, and the care provided was ok. It seemed like she did a lot more screenings and tests and retests than my previous ophthalmologist. The office was comfortable. One issue with the office, though, was that the Medical Assistant wore the strongest cologne. It was very out of place in a healthcare setting. My chief complaint is that the front office and the ophthalmology biller in the office insisted on collecting a $100 fee instead of running my visit through insurance. Had they run it through my insurance it would have been a $30 copay. I have called the Vancouver Clinic and this ophthalmology office multiple times to get the $70 difference returned (or at least get the visit billed to my insurance), to no avail. The Vancouver Clinic never returned any of my phone calls. This is par for the course at Vancouver Clinic, in general. I have had great experiences with the clinicians. But when it comes time for billing or scheduling, I am always very disappointed. I won't return to TVC for ophthalmology specifically due to the front office billing problem.

I did still have to wait about 20 mins before I was called back to a room. Then waited 10-15 mins before seeing a doctor. To me, that seems reasonable -- I was a walk-in. The environment is clean, calm, orderly, welcoming. Bathrooms in hallways are kept very clean. Seating areas are kept very clean. Dr. Erik Andru Martin is who took care of me that day. I was very impressed with him stopping in to apologize for the long wait & checking to see what my specific needs were before needing to leave to complete other patient care. When he returned, he was a good listener, asked good questions, he didn't seem to be rushing at all. I appreciated that he heard what I've tried in the past to deal with a lingering cough & he didn't try to insist on one method to help -- he gave several suggestions. I also appreciated that while he did prescribe a medication -- he also gave suggestions of some very practical ways to address the cough at home. Thank you Dr. Martin for your excellent care.

The very next day, I was told I owed hundreds of dollars because the provider was actually out of network. When I explained that I had called in advance and was explicitly told otherwise, the response I received was shockingly dismissive and condescending: "It doesn't matter," followed by, "You owe this amount, and we don't negotiate." No one should be treated this way, especially when they're already dealing with health concerns. The lack of accountability, compassion, and professionalism was incredibly disappointing. Be sure to verify everything yourself before receiving care--I felt this was a classic bait-and-switch experience.
