I didn't know there was a law office around our area. I need to get out more, I think. I never…read morereally had an opportunity to go search for a lawyer somewhere. My walking around the neighborhood sure has my eye open for small businesses. I've always wondered if whether or not you can get a document notarized in a law office. I know there's usually a "notary public" around schools, but I never really thought of going into a Law office to get a document notarized. Did you know that getting a document notarized means your document becomes a public document that everybody can view, and it can hold up in court? Just a thought. Filing this address for future references.

And there is something about them that screams, "I know the law! This is serious business, kid." Yet when you're desperate and need legal documents notarized, you find yourself going to a lawyer. I knocked on the gate (the business is in a house) and an old man opened it for me. Oh, he's the lawyer. Before he asked to see the papers that I brought for him to review and sign, he offered me coffee and juice and some cookies. I guess he did that to put me at ease. He got himself some coffee then said, "What's the problem?" He was just supposed to sign the papers, but he also gave me free legal advice. The next time I went back with more papers to sign, he remembered my first visit and asked if all was well. Forgot to add, each visit took me less than twenty-five minutes. That includes the snack, him signing the documents and the good advice he gives.

Two days ago, I paid for the last extension of my stay for 9 remaining days, until August 31, 2024. I previously (during the first week of August) decided to cancel my extension after the 22nd of August because I was alerted about the likelihood of having to temporarily relocate to another room. However, I was offered to extend my stay in room 311 until August 31 by a hotel worker whose name resembles the name Dina. This person assured me several times that if I extended my stay (in the same room) for an additional 9 days, I wouldn't have to change rooms. Also, for the last 2 weeks, every time I passed the front desk, I was reminded that I needed to pay for those nine days as soon as possible. It is remarkable that just 2 days later the same people started pestering me with the demands to move out of the room I have been staying for so long because of some construction project they didn't know about when they took my money. The hotel's guest is not expected to be concerned with the management's project; he is supposed to be concerned with his own convenience and packing stuff to move to another room, unpacking them there and then packing them again in a few days to fly from the Philippines is definitely a major inconvenience. The management didn't make any effort to make up for the inconvenience it caused to the hotel's guest and seems to be unconcerned that the reputation of the Hotel Royal Amsterdam (and by extension Queen Hotel Angeles City) will suffer from the publicity surrounding this incident, or from me pursuing any other avenues to respond to having been offered this " offer I can't refuse " to paraphrase the manager's final remarks. The manager acknowledged that his failure to inform his reception staff in advance about sending construction workers to the third floor was his fault. However, he still insisted on relocating me, regardless of it being his fault, during my few final days here. Mr. Kamensky

They take a more quality over quantity approach to their practice of law. SPCMB primarily deals in corporate law. Most of their clients and their lawyers are experts in the field of corporate law, but that doesn't mean that's the only thing their good at. Recently they've expanded and have armed themselves with lawyers who excel in litigation. Being a law firm that excels in corporate law, a majority of the firm's clients tend to be some of the richer and more powerful members of society. I get the impression that the firm likes to keep itself small since it allows the partners easier personal oversight in maintaining their relationships with their clients.
