So once again they expect you to just drop off your child no questions asked. CREEPY! Rather than soothe fears of a controversial form of therapy they choose to add more. I am a senior with many issue but I'm dealing with this When the office called to set up new appointment the person read my diagnosis and the last thing she said was addict I have only lived in Washington 4 months I had lived in California under doctors care for a real long time. I also had my records sent to my primary care physician here in Washington I understand her position but I don't understand here saying I am a addict When I call spoke to a manager who promised me I would get a call from upper management in 2 days. I had to call back no calls from them. Here is my problem how does someone come up with that diagnosis in 15 minutes. Never taking time to request and review my records. My favorite ending to this is waiting for the appointment for 3 months 3 weeks and when you go to website says opening available in 2 weeks. Someone removed that from my records. I simply asked the clinic to hold my account until the matter was resolved, but instead of showing patience or compassion, I was discharged as a patient and accused of being verbally insulting. The reality is that I have only been treated rudely and unfairly by the clinic staff. Their lack of understanding and unwillingness to work with me has added significant and unnecessary stress while I am already navigating postpartum recovery and caring for my baby. Patients deserve compassion and respect, not to be dismissed during an ongoing insurance investigation. This experience has left me feeling unsupported and mistreated, and I hope no other patient has to go through what I have. Response : I am disappointed by the clinic's response. My reviews reflect my actual experiences as a patient and are not "harassment." The billing issue relates to an ongoing error with OHP, and I have been instructed not to pay until it is resolved. I have never engaged in abusive or inappropriate behavior toward staff, and I find it concerning that such examples were suggested in connection with me. I hope this matter can be addressed with professionalism and respect.

So, when I found myself needing help this fall with some mental health issues, Kyla was not available, so I took an appointment with Dr Overton in their Gladstone office who listed my issue as one of his areas of expertise. What a waste of time. I was told by administration staff (3 times) to bring a person with me who has knows me well as a part of the evaluation. The Dr didn't even know why my friend was there! Totally unprepared, He had not read my previous charts to get any background on me (this became apparent when he asked if I had ever heard of EMDR - the very thing I saw the last therapist at their practice for). In general, a very disappointing session, and $200+ spent. After thinking about it for a day, I decided this person was not a good fit, and called the office to let them know what happen and that I was going to look elsewhere. Their response was simply, "ok". I would not recommend this practice, or at least not this office.
