Turns out this place designs kitchens and baths and actually had a few rooms set up to help those who need to see real spaces to get a feel for them. Although I think our bath is limited without major construction challenges, I will keep this place in mind since it is licensed and insured and the displays looked appealing. But what really occupied my time here was checking out their extensive supply of Big Green Eggs. Seriously, where I live, it takes less time to get to Ellettsville than it does to get to Sullivan's Hardware on the northeast side (and less traffic too!) One of the two owners of the business came out to greet me when I entered and we started chatting about these state of the art grilling stations. My friend swears by his egg, so I decided to check out what makes them different. Turns out the owner I dealt with has been competitively grilling for a long time and I was impressed that he took time to answer many questions, steer me towards some You Tube videos for ideas, and even mentioned Sullivan's annual cooking competition as a place to buy lightly used equipment at a nice savings to get started. He was SO Helpful! Although I didn't buy one on my visit, I would have no qualms about returning here when I decide to pull the trigger on a purchase. (These aren't cheap grills since they are molded ceramic containers and can weigh hundreds of pounds.) They give you a contract that says what they don't do, which becomes a plumber responsibility, but the plumber needs to do more than what the contract states, so it becomes a larger expense. They did the job rushed in 25 minutes, when I was told by the company that it would take about 2 hours. They left the sink lose, took the clamps or threw them away, and the countertops were sitting about a quarter to a half an inch lower than the previous countertops, which made it look ugly, certainly an incomplete job. Management told me that they could have done the measurements incorrectly and then someone else negated this and did not asume responsibility. They took off $200 off the bill, but I had to pay almost $500 for a professional to fix it. Unsat!

Granted, I'm not running out buying appliances every other day, but if i were, I'd try to buy them here. Another reviewer mentions using Buy Now for appliances to help them flip houses affordably. I would totally use them for that! The biggest challenge is either having someone that can swap out your appliances or haul away your old ones. If you use a handyman service, it will cost a bit, but if you're buying something like a fridge, you'll still probably save a lot. They'll hold a purchased item for about a week. I've been shopping for a fridge for several months, resigned to paying an arm and a leg. Buy Now has close outs and scratch and dent appliances for MUCH LESS than new in a store. They're unboxed and ready to go! After much hemming and hawing, I settled on a GE. It was one of the few that didn't have the original packing inside. As I was lining up a handyman to help me get the old one out and the new one in, I got a call. They had tested it and found it did not work. A replacement part was ordered, but i was also given the option to choose a replacement. The guy I hired went to pick it up and it seems like he was in and out quickly. They had refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers, and tons more. I'm definitely going back next time I need a new appliance!

He stepped in and dealt with the mold and leak situation then stayed committed to the project to fully get the house back to living condition. He is fully trained in mold and it's remediation. He had to take over my project and fix what contractors before him did wrong. So James found the reason for the mold, remediated the house and put the house back together. We had to gut my house and Janes was able to handle the whole project. I trust James with knowing the full details of mold and water damage. I waited on him to be free to work on my house because I didn't trust any other mold tech in southern half of the state. He went above and beyond to fix the house.
