Meredith is wonderful! She is proactive and actually has a plan of action to heal her patients in relatively short time. At Light Street Psychotherapy we work with adults, adolescents and their families who suffer from trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues and anger management. Our therapeutic approach helps clients learn the skills to stay centered in a stressful and fast paced world. We now offer Life Coaching to help our patients maximize their full potential both inside and out. We have 3 full time therapists and a Psychiatrist if medication is needed. Established in 2013.

Light Street Psychotherapy merges eastern psychotherapy approaches with traditional western psychology to create an innovative, holistic approach toward healing. We use EMDR and interpersonal therapy which helps individuals who have been sexually/physically abused, experienced grief, or witnessed domestic violence. In addition to private practice, LSP also works with Short Hills Psychiatric Wellness Center.

Meet the Business Owner: Meredith S.

Meredith earned her MSW with honors at Rutgers University and her BA at Washington University in St. Louis. Meredith believes that Psychotherapy is a journey where the therapist and client walk together on a path toward discovery and healing. Her treatment is individualized based on client needs. She merges eastern and western traditional psychotherapy approaches to create an innovative, holistic approach toward healing. Meredith has become one of the top EMDR therapists in the area specializing in trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues and anger management. Her therapeutic approach helps clients to learn the skills to stay centered and calm in a tumultuous, stressful, and fast paced world. She helps clients to find appropriate solutions to problems and enhance interpersonal relationships. Therapeutic modalities include: EMDR, family, group, interpersonal, mindfulness, behavioral modification therapies and TF-CBT.
