Even though we had different experiences the course kept us together. It was a blast, we cannot wait to go back. WARNING: Wear clothes you do not care about, you land in dirt a lot. Also, if you have delicate lady skin wear leggings and bike gloves to protect your legs and hands. You can totally bring your phone and loose items if you have them secured properly in a KualaBag or a small hiking backpack or even a fannypack that can be off to the side or back.

Kristen was our game master and she did a great job. She was full of energy and got us hyped up before we went in. There were items in the room that you could tell people had been a bit rough with, but overall the place was well kept, clean, and fully functional. Also, and importantly, the restroom was clean. We definitely intend to go back and try their other rooms.

Long time staple of Kentucky kingdom. At the old six flags theme park it had a Batman theme and was called the "penguin" I believe after the famed Batman villain. Pretty cool group tube ride that takes you over small waterfall bumps and falling water. Not too many bid drops so you won't necessarily get drenched but you will get wet. Overall I really like this ride. It's a nice combo on a hot day of you want to cool off and don't want to suit up and head to hurricane bay. I'm glad this ride was resurrected for when Kentucky kingdom reopened a few years ago.

It cost 20 dollars to get in which is steep but they all cost around that much so you're not going to get a better deal anywhere else. We waited for over an hour to finally go on the haunted trail but there were actors and posters around so you had something to look at. You do get a few scares but nothing too serious. The actors do take their job seriously but may accidentally break character if someone makes a weird comment to them. Overall, not a bad place to go during Halloween.

The venue itself is very large, but thankfully there was plenty of signage directing guests to the correct event. Since there are multiple entrances and parking areas, the signs made it easy to find where we needed to go. There was also plenty of parking available near our event. Once we arrived, there were several staff members greeting guests and directing everyone where to go, which made check in easy. Outside, they had several games set up for families, making it a very kid friendly event. Walking inside, I was impressed by how spacious the venue was. There were tables set up throughout the room, designated food areas, and numerous booths representing different parts of the school. The event was well attended, but there was plenty of space for everyone. They also had a DJ with a lit up dance floor that created a fun, energetic atmosphere. One of my favorite parts was the outdoor area overlooking the horse racing track. They had graduation signs to sign, several photo opportunities, and stations where they printed your pictures on the spot, which made for a fun keepsake. The food consisted mostly of finger foods. Some items were good, while others were just average, but there was enough variety for everyone. The staff worked hard throughout the event to keep everything running smoothly and make sure guests were taken care of. Some employees were very friendly, while others seemed like they were bothered and overwhelmed. The bar was also a nice addition. I ordered a Woodford Reserve Whiskey Sour, and it came with a souvenir cup, which was a nice touch. This was a well organized event in a spacious venue with plenty of activities for guests of all ages. I'm glad I had the opportunity to attend and experience everything my school put together.

For my first time horse racing, the handy guides provided clear directions on the steps to place a bet with a human or one of the electronic machines. If you worry about the heat or the noise of the crowd, millionaires row tickets are worth the price. Reserved seats and a dinner buffet were well worth the $100 per person. The homestyle dinner buffet featured green beans, Mac and cheese, potato salad, salad, baked beans, BBQ pork, BBQ chicken, cookies, and brownies. The food was on the bland side but good quality, and there was plenty of everything. The service of Churchill Downs was the low part of my experience. Sitting in Millionaire's Row, we were assigned a server who did not frequently appear, and other servers had to track her down for us. I was also not thrilled with how IDs under 30 were handled. When you approach the ID tent, workers were dismissive and not helpful as people under 30 had to have their ID scanned in a separate location. When I arrived at the second ID location, we found a lengthy line and only one scanner in use. Plus that scanner was having difficulties with certain IDs.

The height requirements are 42 inches to ride alone or 36 inches to ride with a companion. So it's kid friendly. This is probably my favorite Kentucky kingdom ride. Has been since I was like ten years old. Not much to it. You climb to the top and like most splash rides or goes through a few curves and takeouts beige climbing to the near 100 foot drop. The drop gathers good speeds and an enormous splash. I love looking up as soon as you hit the water and taking in the huge splash about to come crashing down on my head. You will get soaked especially if you sit in the front row. So my suggestion is to "sit in the front row" They also have a splash zone at the exit where if you aren't down getting wet or didn't get wet enough for your liking that you can hang out at and get slashed from the big drop from the next riders. Overall great ride that stands the test of time. Truly a a long time Kentucky kingdom staple. Perfect for days where it hot but you don't want to suit up and go to hurricane bay. But also perfect to Segway into the second half of your day headed to hurricane bay. I was very pleased to hear they kept this ride when they reopened Kentucky Kingdom a few years ago after being shit down for awhile.
