I found Camarie when my husband and I were first dating. We did our first shoot with her and were instantly in love with her work. She helped pose us while making sure we looked natural, and captured candid shots of us so perfectly. Fast forward and she has done our engagement photos, wedding photos, maternity, newborn sessions, one year photos, and our family photos every year. After every session with her I get told by everyone who sees them how beautiful our photos are and people are always asking who my photographer is. Camarie is professional and so wonderful to work with. She has always been so amazing about making sure we have the right location for what I'm envisioning, and during the shoot she simply works her magic. She is always there to help get the best shots, with the best lighting, while still making sure you look natural and in your own element. Our photos turned out so adorable that it was a no brained to do another milestone photo at one year with Camarie. At one we did a shoot at a local spot and my daughter did awful, would not stop crying but Camarie managed to get some shots we were able to use for her birthday and the rest are memories. She was incredibly patient with us during the entire shoot. We were actually one of her last shoots before she moved but were able to book her for a family/maternity shoot while she had prior committed events in the upcoming months. I searched high and low for someone who could take heirloom portraits for my little one. I…read morecontacted 3 photographers and Cristal was the only one that contacted me immediately through text. Heirloom portraits are more of a southern thing so I sent her inspiration pictures for reference. She said she could do it so I ended up booking her for a session. She had tons of props and outfits to choose from. We decided to go the simpler route and opted for no props with a simple white background. The session ended up being 15 minutes (she said she got THE shot). After about a week, Cristal sent me a soft proof gallery with about 75 photos to choose from. I picked my 12 and texted her feedback on the ones I wanted more/less cropped. She also nailed the vignette on the heirloom portraits; it was exactly what I was looking for! She sent me a second gallery with my 12 picks, also including them in B&W and different editing styles (34 total). Cristal had great communication, and will go above and beyond to make sure you love your pictures! I would highly recommend her if you live in the IE area. One tiny note, 4 photos have a faint line at the top. It looks like the editing filter wasn't taken all the way up. With that being said, not the end of the world and would gladly book her again.
