My wedding coordinator saw Matt's photos and recommended him to me, even though she had never worked with him. I researched several local photographers and then narrowed it down to my favorite ones. I really liked Matt's style and his packages seemed more affordable than the others. I'm really glad I went with him because for the price of his packages, I was getting as good, actually even better, quality photos as other photographers that are really well known in the area and that charge a lot more. He answered all my questions either through email or over the phone, and I had a lot of questions. We booked an engagement session with Matt in DTLA, which was really easy to schedule. He knew all the great places in DTLA to go for photos so we got tons of variety for only being in a small area for a few hours. When I got my photos back (like the same week we took them!), everyone we showed them to were amazed and several people mentioned they were the best engagement photos they had ever seen. The canvas and the engagement photo book came out looking terrific. Months later the wedding happens and in between the time, Matt is still good at answering my random questions. Matt shows up on my wedding day the time I asked him to, but I have a feeling once he got there, my family started to get pushy and continued to be pushy during some times but Matt is a great sport about it and did whatever they asked him to or diplomatically handled the situation. He got most of the shots on my must-shoot list but the day was such a whirlwind, it's hard to keep track of all of the things. Matt sent me over 1700 photos 3 months later and they look fantastic!! Him and his partner did such a great job and I am thankful because I didn't have a videographer so I really depended on these photos to capture everything.
