She went to the hospital from pneumonia at the end and found out she had bedsores, hadn't been bathed or fed for 3-4 days and had terrible thrush in her mouth from teeth not being brushed for weeks as she wasn't capable of doing it herself or taking care of her ADL's. While a lot of the staff are pleasant and friendly they neglect the people there and are understaffed and the facility reeks. She is no longer here as she has moved to the springs in Richmond and is much happier. They also dis enrolled her from her medical plan and drug coverage without my approval as her POA. The name has changed from heritage house and is still going off the cms ratings of it being a high performing facility which is not true. Some staff there Social services Emily is great Tiffany is good Kailey is great Ally good Selena is good Brenda not good Jordan night nurse is bad asked her to not come in her room Have a friend whose mother actually died there last year from neglect which only found out about recently.

Although we arrived about five minutes late she was kind enough to come out and advised that due to a walk-in she was running a little bit late. She could've just ignored us but she didn't. The problem isn't with the doctor or the nurse but with the overall organization, I think he has the words I am looking for. If there is a problem, they will say they called you, and yet I only have one cell phone and there are no voicemails or recent calls that say they called me. Also, I know I am not a wounded veteran and there is nothing special about me, and yet when I have a situation that I have been dealing with for almost 6 months, it seems like there is not a hurry to get this taken care of. The pain at times is excruciating and all I am wanting to do is get some help. It's to the point where it seems like I have to get another job that offers insurance, so I am able to find a doctor outside of the VA. I do appreciate any help that I get, but when it's not the help that I am looking for, the not help outweighs the help.

I decided on this visit to wear my new red baseball cap that SIMPLY reads on front 'MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.' IF course for us who are educated know this hat was inspired by President Donald Trump. I feel it is very possible....no extremely relevant that this foreign pain doctor decided to rather hurt me because of what I believe in as an AMERICAN and not to treat my many pain symptoms.
