I work up on Fall back Sunday with the intention of just staying home on a cool 50 degree day. The Lord motioned me that I needed to be in the house on this morning. I texted my sister to see what time service started. I got mom's breakfast prepared. Got Her settled and Mommy confirmed by telling me to go on to church. I'll be right here when you get back. Fast forward, I arrive at the end of Sunday School (30 min). Yes, people still attend Sunday School. Evangalist was speaking on how we should celebrate God's benefits in advance. Use this day to open our hearts and minds to Thank Him for All He's Doing in our lives. If God doesn't do another thing it's still alright! Whewww, I was ready for service! Just before service began, I received the most joyous Holy Ghost filled hug from another female Pastor. God knows just what you need. Amen . From the opening prayer, to the calling out of Loved Ones Name's for prayer, to the testimony service. The choir sang my soul free while Pastor Waymayer spoke on the 2 greatest commandments of Jesus. Mark 12-28-34. I was just Full and satisfied by the Love of Jesus Christ in this place. The Fullness there of. I know that there's many places to worship in Wallace SC. However, the USHERS/VOLUNTEERS give you an entirely different experience than what is being preached about. They will speak loudly during the sermon, try to carry on a conversation with you during the sermon, compare what the minister did/said during his 8:00 versus his 11:15 sermons, distract you, make you give up your chair for people who arrive more than an hour late for service (when you are deep into the message and are in need of it) then make you seem like you are the problem, etc. There is a disconnect. I've noticed this problem when there is a Black manager in charge of people who don't take him or their jobs seriously. They sabotage him.
