At 8:30 AM sharp, the doors opened and an elderly security guard greeted everyone and ushered us inside. After a few steps, there was a lady directing each person to numbered booths. I ended up at booth 18. The agent was super efficient in processing my paperwork and I was out of there in 6 minutes! Fastest visit to the passport office ever. There is plenty of paid parking nearby, but if you arrive early, you can easily find free 1 hour or even 2 hour parking. I believe if there are no markings, you can park for 3 hours. Try looking for parking in the residential areas within 1 km of the passport office if you have time, but beware of permit only parking spaces.

The line to get a number was about 10 people which seemed to be moving quick. Overall it looked like an 1 hour+ wait so I decided to come back earlier the next day. Came back on Wed at 7:59am (opens at 8am) and there was about 15-20 people in line already. Doors opened promptly at 8am. Line moved quick and I got my number in 5 mins, I was extra impressed that the initial person checked all my documents and pictures to ensure they were to standard instead of me waiting and getting rejected by the final person. 14 mins later my number came up on the ticker and 2 mins later I was done. All in all, I was in and out in 21 mins, wow! However I did fill out all the documents in advance and read and re-read all the instructions just to be sure (completing a first time pp for my daughter). Service was courteous and helpful even in the early morning. PP was to be mailed to me by Jan 23 which is quicker than I had thought it would be. Only tip I would say is go early if you don't want to wait and keep an eye on the ticker. I was surfing on my phone and glancing at the ticker every so often, I saw my number pop up but I had thought it needed to start flashing before I could approach the counter however my number simply disappeared from the ticker altogether. So it is very possible that if you're not paying attention to the ticker, your number could show up and pass very quickly and you would not even know it.
