This waterfall hike was one of the highlights of our recent trip. It was very do-able for young kids- our 3 and 6 year old had a blast. There isn't much incline, and no treacherous cliffs like some other hikes we've tried. Certainly kiddos have to careful of their steps with the roots and rocks on the path. Took us a sec to find the trailhead. You park in the golf/church parking lot. We paid $10 cash to some guy in a golf cart - not entirely sure if it was legit haha. Go past the chain link, toward the water tower. The path is narrow/hidden to the left of the water tower. The path is almost entirely shaded/jungly so fine for a sunny/hot day. It maybe took us about 20 minutes each way on a slow exploration pace... The waterfall pool is shallow enough for toddlers to play Apparently we were told by locals that we were lucky to catch the waterfall alone on a weekday when local kids were in school since it's a popular hike to take on young ones. I've have made this short hike a few times, today the falls were flowing more than the other times. It was so peaceful and beautiful to see so much water flow. Trail was a little muddy in spots but not bad. There was a tree across the trail right by the area that you take the trail to the right to head to the falls. There is some ups and downs, high steps ups, lots of roots, so keep your eyes on the trail. Alltrails is helpful to stay on trail. read more

Nice woodsy falls a reasonably easy hike up through the jungle. Hiking from the road to the golf course parking lot adds about a half mile and is as long or longer than the jungle hiking. The falls are maybe 30 feet high down the rock face. If you go up to the base there is a pool deep enough to dip all the way into, with some lower pools just deep enough for a foot soak. The trailhead is on the far left side of the golf course parking lot as you come up from the road. The trail is wide to start, then just before you hit the big water tank the trail goes off and up to the left. A little ways in there are two big downed trees, and the trial to the falls takes a hard turn to the right. Straight/left goes away from the falls but there are a bunch of trees across the trail a half-mile or less down the trail. The falls trail continues down the farthest left fork below the falls. You follow the blue and pink ribbons, and eventually they split. The pink goes down along the streambed. The blue seemed to go up the streambed and involves some serious rope climbing, but then I lost the trail and couldn't see any more blue ribbons. read more

Likeke Falls is a two tied waterfall near the Ko'olau Golf Club. You can access this waterfall from either hiking down the Old Pali Highway from the Pali Lookout or from the Ko'olau Golf Club. Going the Ko'olau Golf Club route is much shorter in distance if you are tight on time. There is normally a lot of water flowing since water is constantly being collected from the Ko'olau mountain range. read more

Great hike, good pay off with waterfall at the end, parking options including the First Prez church for 10$. Saw families, with young children, and pets. Some people were in the water and recommending visitors be careful and not to go in if you have open cuts. The hike isn't strenuous and can easily be done round trip in half an hour. This was a super quick and easy hike for my family to do. We went in end of May, not too muddy when we went. We parked at the golf course and paid the $10 I believe it was. However, because we paid and because it was such a short hike to the likelike falls I would recommend also doing the longer hike that gets you to the old Pali highway as well. We didn't do it this time because we weren't prepared for it. Once at the falls my kids played around and splashed in the water. This isn't a huge falls but my kids enjoyed it. Again it's a really short hike so definitely one to do if you have little kids and worry about longer waterfall hikes. read more

This hike was short, enjoyable, and majority of the time shaded (big plus for me). The incline on the hike was easily tolerated. And the vegetation with birds singing was beautiful and peaceful. There were little ribbons tied to tree branches to help keep you on the correct path. Eventually you will approach a fork in the trail. The path on the right had a large blue arrow painted on a tree. We chose the left path since it had a man-made rock pathway. So many steps further in, we realized we took the wrong way. Especially since our scout had just shared he heard the waterfall coming from the path with the BLUE ARROW -_- Nice to know *sigh* So after following the path with the blue arrow we finally made it to the waterfall. So worth the effort, even with us taking the wrong path at first lol. The only downside to this hiking trail was parts of the trail were slippery from all the mud, and there were lots of mosquitoes (Thus, the 4 star review). Also, there are some fallen trees/branches on the trail you will need to maneuver through/around/over/under it. Parking wasn't an issue for us. You have the option to park at Ko'olau Golf Club, but you'll need to pay $10 and leave before they close or your vehicle will be locked in. Or you can park off to the side of the road before the entrance of the golf course, which is what we did with no issues. Just make sure your vehicle can handle the uneven ground so you don't get stuck. You'll also want to make sure never to leave any valuables in view as some vehicles have been burglarized here before. Tip 1: Take a right at the BLUE ARROW (See pics below). Tip 2: Use bug repellent and wear clothing to cover up if you don't want to become a mosquitos next meal. Many hikers can pretend to go on an adventure through the dense forest. Imagine yourself as Indiana Jones exploring a deep jungle. Hikers can take the cobblestone paths to the lovely waterfall. Get ready to go through the muddy paths, mosquito fest, roots rising out of the ground (which anyone can trip over), and humid atmosphere (make sure to have the water bottle handy), to get to the waterfall. When the hikers reach the waterfall, they can put their feet into the water. The water tends to be shallow. Depending on the day, when we went, the water looked clear. Many families and groups came to the hike when we went. Hikers can go up further to the Pali and look down. Personally speaking, I don't do much hiking. Nor do I like exploring nature. I just like to look at it and let it be. Do I consider this an easy hike? No. I felt it more appropriate for the intermediate hiker. They may find it easy. Many times I almost fell and slipped due to the muddy trails. Not my cup of tea. As a matter of fact, I found it pretty stressful many times. Will I go back here? Probably not. Is this a good hike for families, groups, and couples? Yes. Even children go up these hikes with their families. The positive side being that dogs can go on this trail. Dogs will like to rest and walk around the waterfall. We brought Lola and she liked going up the trail. read more

This is what I call a hike! My boyfriend and I have visited few spots in Oahu that based on reviews are seemed as "hikes", however are more like a short scenic walk. Likeke Falls is definitely a hike. However the end result/destination? A short small waterfall crowded with hella tourists. My boyfriend and I were bummed. We came across Likeke Falls because we ran into this adorable Filipino couple at Manoa Falls and they claimed this was one of their favorite hiking spots with a nice destination end point. Before you start your hike, you have to park your car in the parking lot. If you drove, you most likely have to and should pay the $10 fee at the church connected to the parking lot. If you did not drive? Well props to you and I also would question how you walked as Likeke Falls is next to the highway. What I liked about Likeke Falls is the path to take is based on observation and clues (not literally but you do have to look out for certain things along the way in order to know whether to go right, left, straight, etc). My boyfriend and I thought this was really fun. We definitely had to look for certain arrows that people keep telling us to look for as they were walking back from the hike. We had to duck under tree branches. It was pretty cool. I was just disappointed to see that the end destination of the hike was a small waterfall with hella tourists. It was very difficult to even get close to the waterfall because people kept blocking the path to take pictures or were hogging up the space to get through. **Tip: If you care about your feet getting wet, bring water shoes or proper hiking shoes. Your feet will definitely get wet and you have to hop rocks to get to the waterfall read more

Two stars for the beautiful waterfall we didn't get to see. We had to end it within 5 minutes of getting lost in the jungle. It was wet and muddy and am told it's worth it though- ah to be young and adventurous. Bugs love to bite me and I brushed against something that turned my legs a bit swollen. Sounds like I'm not a nature girl but I did the Koko head hike the previous day and it was amazing. If you have to do this hike, PLEASE PUT ON BUG REPELLANT!! The best short waterfall trail so far on my trip in Oahu! This was a short waterfall trail by Ko'olau Golf Club. I would park at the far left parking lot for the trail entrance. Parking is free. When you go to the trail, turn left into a small open brush right before the graffiti tank. DO NOT go around the tank as it just goes in a circle. We totally went around it like idiots. We totally missed the trail. Make sure to step on the tree roots so you won't sink in the mud. Walking on the rocks can be slippery but this is why it's best to use hiking shoes for this trail. I highly recommend to wear waterproof or old shoes as this trail is very muddy with red dirt. We happen to come while it was lightly raining. I thought it was better since the waterfall was gushing and so beautiful. Also, put on lots bug repellent as you will surely be bitten my many mosquitoes. Good thing I had some!! You will surely enjoy the Hawaii nature and the waterfall. Great pictures. Be careful going on up the waterfall as the rocks are slippery. Good thing I am a hiker and I know where to step and I take my time to scan where my next step will be. You can use the tree branches by carefully tugging what will carry your weight. Part of the waterfall holes are deep so I would remove your shoes. Other than that, it was a good short walk up the waterfall less than a mile. Make sure to bring your camera! What a great little hike! I saw some conflicting information about where to find the start, but basically you'll want to park in the lot by Ko'olau Ballrooms and Conference center. As you are pulling into the lot, the entryway is straight and to the left, marked by a chain across a small driveway. (Don't forget your bug spray and good shoes for the rocks.) Once on the trail, when you see the graffiti water tower, make an immediate left. (Don't hug around the tower, or you've gone too far.) The trickiest turn is when you search for the tree to go right. Indeed, it does have a small arrow carved into it, but I missed it when a freak rainstorm drenched me right before the turn. After a hike up the rocks, I headed back, just past another very large tree, and got back on the correct trail. Although the pitter-patter of raindrops made the waterfall hard to hear at first, eventually I heard the unmistakable sound of the rush of water. Amazingly, I had the whole trail to myself--including the waterfall--thanks to the early morning start and the burst of rain. It was gorgeous and not too strenuous to get there. I'll definitely hike back there soon, after checking the weather radar first! read more

This was hike was not hard at all and very kid friendly. There lots of families on this hike. It can be confusing to start the hike if the gate is closed that leads to the back of the golf course parking lot which is where the hike actually begins. If that gate is closed which will be on the right side of the road you will need to keep walking past it to another gate that has a path going around it on the right side. Keep walking until you get to the bottom of a bridge that has two trail entrances on the right side. Take the first one. That will lead you up and around to the back of the parking lot to start the hike. The parking situation is a little bit weird. This was my first time on this trail and I'm assuming that people normally park up the hill toward the back of the golf course parking lot, but if this is not the case, you will have to park on the side of the road and walk your way up to the entrance. In that case you may have to park a little ways away if there are lots of people out. When you get to the trail entrance oh will see a big water tower that is painted all over just before getting to it, you will a path to the left of it which is the beginning of the trail. Overall I was pleased with this hike, it was very enjoyable and easy to do. It is always great to listen the sound of water flowing in nature. read more

If your looking for a short, beautiful, and a stunning little waterfall hike, then check this gem out. Located in Kaneohe, this place is easy to find. The hike features a well traveled path, beautiful scenery, and tops it off with a amazing little waterfall to help you cool off. Dogs are welcomed but keep them leashed please. As you make your way to Koolau Golf course, the entrance to the hike begins at the back corner of the parking lot. Walk pass the chain gate til you see the water tank. The trail veers imediately left at the tank, up the hill... from there just follow the path til you pass the downed trees with the arrows pointing right. Continue right til you get to the waterfall. This hike is super easy and fun for all ages... and younger kids can do this hike with no problems. We now do this hike as a family on a regular basis. Definitely recommended!!! read more

I been here once before for a outdoor yoga and hike yelp event. First time back, actually planned on going to Ho'omaluhia Botanical Garden but to my dismay dogs are not allowed. But dogs are fine at the close by likeke falls which offers similar views. To get to the trail head you need to head to the koolau golf club and head left to the back corner of the lot furthest from the clubhouse. You can head up to the pali but the falls are at a midway junction. See pics. Heading towards the pali offers some nice views of the koolau mountains. Most just hang a right and head to the falls. We got lost missed the tree on the way up with the arrow. It was super hot and humid, spray yourself with the bug spray. Still have an adventure and had fun wish we could have seen the falls or there was better markings to follow the trail. 10$ parking at the church they close at 4pm and if your car isn't out you have to pay like 100$ fee for someone to come and let you out the church parking. read more

First off. The Koolau golfcourse was closed. So we walked up the old pali rd, which is quite nice and beautiful. If you want to go to the falls, just before you cross bridge take the trail off to the right. That will cut you thru to the Golf course parking. Then go up to the left and over chain link. Follow until you see the water tower and just before the fallen tree take trail left. After a ways up, you'll see another fallen down tree with arrow to right. Take that trail to right and you'll find the falls. We saw many others that said they didn't take that right and went up trail instead. Enjoy the refreshing water and relax. read more

Be prepared to pay $10 for parking enless you know people (lol) or park your car on the side of the rode. Don't leave shit in your car. Break ins have occurred. To access Likeke Falls you would park at the Pali Lookout. Then you would walk towards the lookout but stay towards the right side. One you hit the ledge you will see the old Pali road and just follow it down. Once you get to the bottom of the road, go left and under the Pali Hwy. You will come up on the other side and keep going left. Easiest thing to do on this hike is to just follow the pink markers. Overall this isn't usually a hard hike. However, since we went after the rain it was extremely muddy which made the hike more difficult than usual. Also I highly recommend to bring mosquito repellant. If your going to visit any hikes with a waterfall, ALWAYS bring mosquito repellant!! read more

Loved this hike! We did about five hikes while we were on the island and this was my husbands favorite. I would say it's easy/ for beginners. Only difficulty was the slippery mud due to rain. This hike was a good one. Kinda easy too. I underestimated it at first, thinking it was a really fast hike that doesn't require a lot of water. Well, I was wrong. I have just got done with the Pali Puka trail and figured I might as well go on this hike since I'm already here. But I was going with whatever water I had left which was just about a quarter of the bottle. We would have gotten lost going on a different trail if it weren't for other hikers going to the waterfall too. So keep your eyes open for the waterfall arrows and a green staircase. There's a few different trails leading up and down the mountain. Just look for the pink ribbons to guide you. The incline was a good one. A little bit of cardio city but it was worth it. The waterfall was gushing out today, the pools was really clean too not like other waterfalls in the area. I would do this one again too. Mission Accomplished! read more

I loved this hike! Entrance to the hike is in the back of the golf course parking lot. Worth the $10.00 parking fee. The street parking before you drive up to the golf course looked a little sketchy with fear we'd get stuck in the mud. The trail was very muddy (end of March) but the finish line we just rinsed our shoes off in the water fall. I would come here every weekend if i lived here! I would say kids 5 and up. Wear good hiking showed with traction. We brought my 3 year old niece and she was carried most of the way but she too loved the waterfall. Turn left at the water tank with the nice graffiti and right at the broken tree (there's a spray painted green right arrow if you look close enough i won't post picture of the waterfall.. don't want to ruin it for anyone read more

There are two ways to get to the falls. The easier, faster way is to park in the "back" side of the Ko'olau Golf Course parking lot and walk up the paved walking path that starts in the far corner (farthest from the clubhouse). The path is pretty clear. It takes about 20 minutes of brisk walking up a slight incline to get to the falls. The trail is usually muddy since it rains a lot on this side of the island. Don't wear nice shoes and be prepared to get a little sweaty and possibly muddy. The other way is to park near the Visitor Center of Ho'omaluhia Botanical Garden (about a five kilometer drive from the golf course), backtrack on the road through the Garden until you reach a path leading under the H3 freeway. Then it's uphill and in a southwesterly direction along the base of the Ko'olau mountains. This route takes longer but there are nice views of the Windward side. The falls are one of the more easily accessible falls on the island and the water is almost always crystal clear. It's a nice spot for pictures. It's probably what people think of when they think of a waterfall in a lush jungle setting. Enjoy! read more

Well bf didn't do a thorough research and it was ridiculously muddy and we almost fell like 5x!!! So I blame him!! Fantastic. The only reason why it isn't 5 stars is because we were lost twice before we found the falls. Apparently if you go to an app called all trails. Download that first. We missed the graffiti tree with the arrow so up the hill we went. First went right past and there was a Trail there that was straight up and with a 73 year old man that is my dad with us, this wasn't good. Then went down another trail, not straight up but teetering on a ledge where at any point one of us could have fallen from a cliff. Long story short, be careful and we realized that any hike in Hawaii was not for the faint of heart. Finally for the falls. Beautiful. Easy once you are on the correct path. Very muddy but worth the hike. About 30 -40 minutes round trip. read more

I did this hike a couple of weeks ago with my brother and sis-in-law with them describing it as a quick one, as in, less than an hour round-trip to the waterfalls and back to the parking lot. Well, that is certainly true if you know where you're going. They had done the hike once before so I trusted that they knew the route, but it turns out we took a couple of wrong turns and ended up doing about an extra 45 minutes of hiking. This didn't really bother me too much since I'm all about exploring a new place in a tropical setting, but I was getting eaten alive by mosquitoes in the mean time. The bug spray I had applied was no match for those critters. Anyway, we finally found the correct way to go after backtracking (twice) and made it to the waterfall. On the way back, I calculated that it indeed only took about 15-20 minutes one way if we had gone the right way. Tips: look for the tree with a blue spray-painted arrow pointing to the right and that's the trail to follow. There's actually a fallen tree trunk right before it. Happy Hawaiian hiking! read more

My family and I just tried this hike today. I read it was a super easy, 20 minute hike, so we were all excited to go. I also read that the trail was marked with pink ribbon. However, this was not the case. I followed the directions from other reviews but the trail was not marked with pink ribbon and the directions from other reviewers were unclear. we ended up lost in the woods for 2 hours. I finally found the waterfall, after my whole party left and it was just me and the in-law. IT WAS SO WORTH IT! It was one of the easiest hikes I have done here and was soo beautiful! It actually was about 20 minutes, not time consuming at all, if you do it right. It was so gorgeous and made the whole shitty day worth it! The water from the fall was so refreshing. This hike is a MUST DO!!!!!! All that said, let me give you my directions so that my misfortune doesn't happen to someone else! We parked here at the advice of more than one reviewer: 45-550 Kionaole Road Kaneohe, 96744 Park in the back (furthest away from the church). There is a small paved path that goes uphill. There's a small chain, gate there. Go up this direction. Take this path for a short time and you'll come across a giant water tank with graffiti. Right before this huge water tank, there is a path on the left. Go this direction and continue on the cobblestone path. While you are on the cobblestone path, there is a SMALL, EASILY MISSED trail, on your right. That trail leads you to the waterfall. IF YOU LEAVE THE COBBLESTONE PATH YOU HAVE GONE TOO FAR!!!!!!!!!!! I marked the trail entrance with my green poncho. Once on that new trail, just follow it along and it will lead you right to the fall. Super quick and easy, extremely beautiful hike!! If you're like most American families, one of your New Year's resolutions is to be more active in the new year. Of course, like most American families it's taken us two months to get started (disclaimer: I have no hard evidence to prove this but I'm pretty sure we're an average American family). So on one recent Saturday our family along with several others braved the wet muddy ground in search of an easy waterfall hike. And, when I say easy I mean I am no hiker and a 2 year old completed the hike so there's that. Our hike began in the parking lot of the Koolau Golf Course. I've been told, but I haven't verified this, that they tolerate parking as long as you stay by the trailhead and you don't take up a parking space during functions at the clubhouse or church on Sunday mornings (the clubhouse is also home to First Presbyterian Church of Honolulu at Koolau, or something like that). Once you get going, the trail is very clearly marked and at a very nice grade. When you reach the large graffiti covered water tank turn left and head uphill. This is one of only two areas where it gets a little steep and it remains steep for maybe 50 yards or so, so really, it's no big thing. As you're walking up the hill there's a nice clearing where you can see the Pali Puka and some nice views of the bay. There are also many interesting plants and trees to look at. After maybe 10 minutes of hiking the trail will split and there's a tree that shows you what direction to walk. I mean, there's literally an arrow carved into the tree that points the correct direction. After another 5 minutes or so you'll hear the waterfall and when you turn the corner there's Likeke Falls in all its glory. There's a nice shallow pool that you can splash around it and if you're willing to climb another 12 feet there's another pool at the top near the base of the falls. Being that we had six children with us, the climb was a no brainer. From the falls there are some gorgeous views of Kaneohe Bay and Mokolii Island (aka Chinaman's Hat). Overall, the round trip only took us a little over an hour and that's with us spending a lot of time playing around in the water. If you're new to hiking or would like to find a nice waterfall this hike should definitely be near the top of your list. read more

My bestie and I took pictures mid waterfall... if you climb through the trees to your left you'll be able to sit steady without a problem. I just took another pair of friends along this hike today. It's becoming my favorite hike because as much as I love Kuli'ou'ou Ridge, it's lost some of its charm because of the long drive for me from Kane'ohe and the people on the trail. I can't do the hike anymore without finding opala and seeing people go off trail and contribute to erosion. This hike starts for me at Pali Lookout, the sheer beauty, the historical significance of the site, and it overlooks my home. The path has been cleared recently, so brush, branches, hau, has been taken away to make a pleasant walk all the way to the falls. You make your way following the old Pali road and there are a couple of great vista points to take photos. A mix of native and introduced plants like he'e and guava, aala, ti and awapuhi. Someone has also added pink trail markers so ot os easy to follow your way down and then, under the Pali to continue along the old Pali road. At a hairpin turn, you veer off to the left i to the brush and wind your way up to the right of the stream. You will descend and go past a gully of kukui and then enter a grove of corn colored small yellow flowers. At the old Hawaiian Electric stone road, a turn off the road to the left leads you through hau to the falls. You can hear the water from this last part. Whoever did the trail cleanup was a bit overzealous because there used to be a raspberry bush at the foot of the falls, it's all gone. The hau to the left used to provide support to climb up to the pool but you don't need to do it to enjoy the falls. The rearranged stones has made a nice flat shallow pool to dip your feet in at the end of the hike and eat a snack. Went on this hike with 2 small children so to me it's a great hike for families. It was a muddy morning but fun. We entered through the parking lot of the Ko'olau Ballrooms. It was a short hike but well worth the fun and seeing the beautiful view and waterfall. I climbed up on the ledge for a photo op but be careful. Don't get hurt so stay low and short strides. I will definitely return as often as I can. read more

Such a fun and not hard hike! Yes if it recently rained it will be muddy and slippery, but nothing like other waterfall hikes on the island. This is a great beginner waterfall hike and you're met with a really cool waterfall at the end of it! Not the biggest waterfall, but still cool. Short hike, though muddy even after 4 days of no rain. Nice waterfall. Can park in the same lot as the Presbyterian Church and gold course/banquet center at the far left end of the lot when you drive up. Walk past a chained entry. Short walk to a water tank with lots of graffiti. Look to the left for the trail. Before you reach the top of a cobblestone like path, look to the right for a tree with a small arrow carved into it. Turn RIGHT (not LEFT). You'll get to the waterfall in less than 10 minutes. read more

So let me say right away that I doubt this review will be very useful. It feels like a stroke of smart-like-a-fox planning that we learned about the hike to Likeke Falls at all, and the actual successful navigation of the path to the falls was a matter of happy accident and good timing. We started from the parking lot outside the Ko'olau County Club. I haven't tried the hike from the opposite direction at the Pali Lookout. Based on the previously written reviews and the reports from hikers who had come from that way on the day we did this hike, our starting point to the falls was shorter. But that certainly doesn't mean the way was any simpler to find. We learned about the hike from a guide book borrowed from the library. You might find travel guides cheesy, but to stumble upon some of the lesser known hikes in Hawaii, I think you can handle the occasional cheese. Plus, cheese is delicious. First of all, from the parking lot, there are no signs. The book told us to start at the end farthest away from the country club and basically, just go for it. Eventually, you come across a water tower decked out in graffiti. The trail begins right before the spot where the water tower is, but if you're like us, you'll circle the tower a couple times and wonder if you stepped into a scene from Lost where the Others sweep you up in a net and then you find out that the Others' leader is your kindergarten teacher or something like that. But from there, I am sure my directions become fairly useless. I think we walked up. The trail is pretty muddy, even when the weather's been dry. On the Windward side, it's always a little bit wet. At some point, there's a huge tree trunk well-marked by several carvings but impressive all on its own. One of the hikers we happened to see on the way told us which direction to head from that tree. Good luck jogging my memory enough to tell you which one that is! Thank you, random hikers! Fortunately, the less spastic of our couple remembered what the hikers had told us, and then we came upon Likeke Falls. It probably took about half an hour from the time we left the car. I grew up about 20 minutes away from that waterfall and had never known it existed until I was 31 and visiting from my chosen home hundreds of miles to the north. And again, I won't win any useful votes. Things like waterfalls defy written explanations. Really, so much that you see on a hike does that. Have you seen the Ferngully movie? It's almost like that. Take a gander at the pictures. That's the best I can do. If we had continued a lot farther, we probably would have eventually made it to the Pali Lookout, past the tunnel and the hazy line between the Windward and town-ward sides of the island. But we turned around after probably 20 more minutes of walking. We had started to get hungry and the mosquitoes were acting hungrier. Hey, maybe I can be helpful. But if you really need more advice - just go. It's not a difficult hike, and even if it was, there aren't many places like it on the island of Oahu. And the way of things dictates that it won't be like this forever. Just go for it. read more

Nice little short hike to a small waterfall. Street parking only since koolau ballrooms are closed. We did take kids on the hike but be prepared for them to get muddy. The kids did fine and lasted to the waterfall and back to the car. Trail was fairly easy to follow but it can be muddy so bring extra clothes and water. I think it maybe took us an hour to and from the waterfall. read more
