We dropped in here whilest we were having a stroll along Sturgeon Bay's main drag of 3rd Ave.  It's…read morea nice, touristy place to pick up souvenirs or trinklets for any kiddo's in the family.  It's an old school but homey setup with lots of creative toys, books, games, knick-knacks crammed into every open space in the store.  The store is actually owned by Bonnie who also co-owns the White Lace Inn B&B with her husband Dennis, and as a guest at White Lace, we got 10% off of our purchases here.  Naturally, there was PR for this store when we checked in.  Terri was our friendly and welcoming staffer on duty, and I chit-chatted with her as the wife shopped.  That's my standard MO y'know.  The goods are on the pricey side but that's to be expected in this prime touristy location.

During the reception we were able to wander through the art which was a nice experience. And I don't know how much the Gallery had to do with the food service and all that, but it everything about this wedding was absolutely seamless and absolutely on time. The food was amazing. My only quibble is that the seating was super tight for dinner. It felt like we were right on top of one another, but again, that's completely minor. The grounds are fantastic native grasses and flowers. I just can't get over how wonderful the entire experience was as a wedding guest.

I was on my way to Egg Harbor, when this store caught my eye on the main road in sturgeon bay. Apparently this store used to be in Egg Harbor, but moved to Sturgeon Bay this year. You can't miss it, its a great big purple house! Inside, there are seven "rooms" filled with stamps. I probably could have spent all day, and a ton of money looking at the entire inventory. What I loved about this store is it has displays above the stamps, giving you an idea of what they would look like colored in. The stamps aren't cheap, but the selection is more unique than you would find in any big box craft store. I shop online a lot (ebay, amazon, joanns, stamp retailer websites) and I found some stamps that I felt were "hard to find." Scrapbookers will love that they sell Door County stamps here. They also sell scrapbook paper, inks, glitters, glues, and a few stickers. I was looking for embossing folders and die cuts too, but ultimately didn't find any I HAD to have. If you like to craft, you need to put this store on your itinerary!
