I went up there to see if I can make an in person appointment but rather I got greeted with the door lock, and once someone did come out, they immediately rejected me, saying the doctor wasn't in office... I walked in to just stand in front of the glass window for five minutes while I heard everybody behind it talk. Somebody was gonna help me but was told no because they were gonna help me after they were done with the phone call... umm really?? After a couple of minutes after that, someone finally opened the glass window to tell me to have a seat because she didn't know how long she was going to be on the phone... really???????? After spending over an…read morehour calling around to find a board certified doctor that could squeeze me in on the same day, I finally found Dr. Janki listed and just around the corner from my place. I drove myself over to her non-nondescript building that I'd driven by hundreds of times without noticing and walked right in. Luckily, it wasn't busy and even though I didn't have an appointment, I was ushered in about twenty minutes later. Most places make you wait that long even if you DO have an appointment! Even though Dr. Janki had two med students trailing her, I never felt awkward or uncomfortable having so many people in the room. She managed to seamlessly combine her diagnosing with her teaching--always a good sign. The place itself was a little run down though clean. It wasn't luxurious by any means, but it got the job done. While I was waiting for my test results, I could overhear her on the phone with another hospital on behalf of one of her clients. She reminded me of a protective mother out to get anyone who would hurt her cubs. Two phone calls later and evidently an apology from the other end and her client actually received an update. While this bulldog type protectiveness might offset some people, I appreciated how much she cared about her clients and their needs. The fact that she was willing to call the hospital on behalf of her clients to ensure they were kept in the loop said a lot. Dr. Janki provides a nice and small clinic for smaller needs, but don't go in here expecting the full service. The clinic is just too small for it. Nevertheless, she is very on top of things and manages to get you in and out in an efficient manner all while being very friendly.

Beware that they will not refill your prescriptions until you have your blood work done. They will…read morenot tell you that. I called when my prescriptions were not sent in. The male who answered the phone said he would take care of it. He never called me back, and my prescriptions were not sent in. I requested to speak to a supervisor the next time I called. She answered the phone, laughed, laughed, laughed, and laughed. I wondered how long she would laugh, and I finally said hello, then she said hello. She was very condescending as if it was common knowledge that I wouldn't get my prescriptions until my blood work was done. I hung up after telling her I would never make another appointment. They did send in 3 of my 6 prescription but also a medication I haven't taken in years. I had told the Dr. Rodriguez that I no longer take that medication. So even when they sent them in, they were wrong. Why wouldn't Dr. Rodriguez, tell me about blood work before prescriptions. Why did the supervisor act like it was common knowledge when the male answering the phone didn't even know. Was it a secret?

I finally got them on the phone this morning a was told my prescription was sent to Walmart, not Walgreens as I had asked and fyi today is Thursday and it's been almost a week since this medicine needed to be started. I'm so pissed because I'm trying to lose weight for a bday vacay that's less than a month away and I'm behind 1 week due to them. Well, actually 2 weeks since this first week if meds are half dosage. I asked to be compensated for my inconvenience and their error. I was told by the med asst. That the manager. Wouldn't compensate me since they had no idea I hadn't started the meds. Well, miss lady that isn't my fault. The staff made an error and you're denying me compensation for their mess up. This place is unprofessional asf. If I didn't already pay my money I would NOT continue business. The service is TRASH‼
