Very decent burger, coming from an American with well-developed burger pallet. The patty was a bit flat for my liking but overall it was stacked with flavor. The highlight of the meal for me though was the onion rings. So. Damn. Good. Beer battered just right. So good in fact, I came back later that week for more. The second time I ordered a Gold Burger, which they tell me won a national burger competition in Sweden. This was also good, but the flavors were not anything I'd crave. Again, good and interesting, but I could take it or leave it. Great onion rings again. I ordered at the bar and had the food come out to me. I didn't eat at the restaurant proper, although I don't think there was much of a difference. I think Phil's is a worthy spot to go for a quick bite alone or with a few pals.
