Possibly, that's because it's the only fast food joint on, or even close to, Route 6. (Most of the other options are on Pennsylvania Avenue or Market Street.) Or possibly, it's because the food is really good. The kids were under the impression that they only sell drinks and ice cream. That may have been the case once, but now they offer hot food as well. My grilled chicken sandwich was superb and the broccoli and cheddar bits were a nice break from the usual fries, my sweetie enjoyed her fish sandwich and was delighted by the macaroni and cheese bites, Working Man enjoyed his cheeseburger, and the Cute Little Fluffy Kin raved about the hot dogs. (The hot dogs did smell really good, but I resisted the urge to try to steal some.) I suspect that they may figure out a way to get there even when we're not in town to take them. There is also a very wide selection of ice cream flavours. They take plastic, but charge a dollar more if you don't pay cash. (I don't know how they get away with that.) There are a few picnic tables scattered around, but no inside seating (or washrooms). Any time I've been by during their open season, there has been a lineup at the order windows, so clearly, the locals know that this is a good place to get some grub.
