My first appointment was like every other new patient appointment. The staff was cordial and treated me with respect as they do with any new patient. Today many years later I know all staff an recognize their voices over the phone. I am greeted with a smile and conversation. Doctor is warm and friendly and happy with my progress. I wish I was able to have Dr. Obeid as my PCP, I'm sure I would get the best care possible.

The next day I arrived 20 minutes early and was turned away because the office staff requires new patients get there 30 minutes early - apparently without telling new patients. They rescheduled me for 6 months later so it took me over 7 months to get in and by then I was angry and may have been less receptive to his care.

I was only 18 mind you, your not suppose to get it done until 21 but Dr. Odell said that i could get it done anyway. when i went in for my procedure she ended up saying everything was fine. she had a little trouble getting one of them in, (I was awake for this whole procedure) Ever since I got this Essure procedure done i have had nothing but problems! I found out just recently by my other OB Dr. that Dr. Odell put 2 Essure Coils in my fallopian tube on the right side, and one coil on my left side! Ever since then i have had pelvic pain, increased vaginal bleeding, and regret about not being able to have another child :( i am 21 now and asked Dr Odell to refund my procedure by taking them out and stitching back the fallopian tubes or at least paying for my procedure to get done by another dr. She tried to set me up with an appointment which i refused! because she just stated to her nurse that I came in for a second time even though it is in none of my charts that says i came back to get another one in! I am appalled Anything she can do to make money even if its messes lives up! I wish something could be done! This Essure procedure is nothing but problems! He is a wonderful doctor and cares very much for his patients, which shows with how much time he spends with them. (He has a bell outside his office staff ring when he's been in for a while- if that says anything) I have encountered many of his office staff who have always been absolutely wonderful. Until recently have I felt things were going down hill with his staff. Now, he is a busy practice with a high patient load, I understand this completely as I work in a physicians office myself. BUT I have lost confidence and the feeling that I am really cared about recently with the way I am treated over the phone. They do not listen to what you say, nor do they much less sound like they care. Nothing was sent out when Dr W returned to the office after a long and unexpected leave. I had originally had an appointment with him in 8/2018-thinking once he returned I would be one of the patient who would get into see him as I have been having chest pain amongst other issues. I simply asked if they needed me to have my bloodwork done again since it was now 3 months old.. the young girl on the phone had completely ignored what I said and asked for a phone number (?).. I had then asked I'm not sure what that has to do with my question I just wanna know if I need to do my labs, no one has contacted me about my lab work either I've just been in some kind of "limbo" for months now... before anyone says (hey you had chest pain how about the ER?) I went to Urgent Care and they refused to do an EKG because I "am young and healthy". I'm still having this pain-therefore I wanna see my PCP who will actually listen to me. I did explain this which got me into a sooner appointment date which I am thankful for- but I wish it wasn't like pulling teeth and they would have just listened to me in the first place. It sounds to me like the office needs to tighten up and maybe revaluate their phone etiquette.
