I don't know if the exorbitant price was because I needed them quickly or if that's what they normally charge. They did a nice job, and the establishment is very clean, but I feel a little taken advantage of. Having said all that, it would have taken me two years to hem the pants, and then I probably would have had one leg shorter than the other. The 3 stars is strictly for the price, not the quality of work.

Most recently, I had a brand new pair of wool and silk slacks laundered and shrunk to a state where they cannot be worn any more. Simply put, they are a terrible place to take your clothing and when you point this out to them, you typically get one of two responses: Either we're sorry and they do nothing or your clothes were like that when you brough them in. Unacceptable. So, there's a laundrymat in the plaza by Wee Pub and the Theater which sends drycleaning down to Jacksonville to be done. So far, they have done a fantastic job and their prices are better than Classic Cleaners. As I write this I'm thinking of thousands of dollars in ruined clothing! Pretty angry.

He told me the items would be ready on March 30th and I would receive a phone call letting me know. No phone call was received. On April 2nd I called to inquire about my garments. I was told they were ready. Upon arrival, I was shocked (to say the least) when the owner told me my total was $197.00! For six hemmed garments. No other alterations. This man told me the hems cost $26/item, plus "pressing" costs $16.00/item. He OFFERED to press the garments. I didn't ask! After I complained, he gave me a 10% "discount." I paid $177.00 to have six items hemmed ONLY (plus the cost to press added). Three of the four pairs of slacks were TOO LONG. They were not hemmed properly, and two pair didn't even appear to have been hemmed at all. I AM UPSET, to say the least. My husband returned this morning, April 3rd, to confront him about the exorbitant pricing and was only offered a $16.00 refund for "pressing." I'm still out-of-pocket $152.00...for hemming six pants (unlined pants). I decided to have them clean it as well since they were going to press it. Paid $48.30 for both. The duvet cover came back more wrinkled than when I took it in. It actually looked better when I took it in than after they serviced it. I complained immediately and was told that they steam it, and if I wanted it pressed, I would have to do it. I ran some errands and went back in. I was so mad. This time I was told that it is not going to look any better.
