I am not sure I am just sure I can never carry them all, It take between 3-5 trips to place them in my car. One day a week or two ago a man helped me. I said he didn't have to, but he was like it's a lot of clothes and it's my job to make customers happy and help. Anyways that man really made my day! I saw him just the other day and he apologized that he wasn't there earlier to help! He always asks how I am doing, just makes my day! I think he's a driver. A light white film on some, some were not starched as request some were not creased as requested and none were DRY CLEANED as requsted. I was informed that they DO NOT DRY CLEAN clothes all clothes are put in the washer. I advised them if I knew there was no dry cleaning I would not have left my clothes there I would have taken them some place else. I have 3 pair of shorts that seem to have a light white film on them. Those shorts were BRAND NEW POLO SHORTS. i was told by the owner Cindy that she would contact their insurance xompany about the issue. It has been 2 weeks since being advised of that and I have yet to hear from the cleaners or Cindy as of yet. It has been a month since giving my clothes to Brite Star Cleaner without a resolution. I would think that if there is no dry cleaning that the customer would be advised of that before leaving their clothes.If you're looking for a DRY CLEANERS this is not the place to take your clothes I'm hoping also if there is a problem with your clothes that it would be handled better than how I'm being treated. I feel I was overcharged and scammed by the owner (male). On March 11, 2026, I dropped off six garments to be hemmed only (2 jumpsuits and 4 slacks). The owner asked me if I wanted the brand new garments "pressed." Before I could respond, he said "I press for you, no worries," while flailing one arm. I assumed he was gonna do it as a courtesy. He told me the items would be ready on March 30th and I would receive a phone call letting me know. No phone call was received. On April 2nd I called to inquire about my garments. I was told they were ready. Upon arrival, I was shocked (to say the least) when the owner told me my total was $197.00! For six hemmed garments. No other alterations. This man told me the hems cost $26/item, plus "pressing" costs $16.00/item. He OFFERED to press the garments. I didn't ask! After I complained, he gave me a 10% "discount." I paid $177.00 to have six items hemmed ONLY (plus the cost to press added). Three of the four pairs of slacks were TOO LONG. They were not hemmed properly, and two pair didn't even appear to have been hemmed at all. I AM UPSET, to say the least. My husband returned this morning, April 3rd, to confront him about the exorbitant pricing and was only offered a $16.00 refund for "pressing." I'm still out-of-pocket $152.00...for hemming six pants (unlined pants).
