Their other instructors - these are the guys I wish coached him in (some of) his other sports growing up. They are supportive, approachable, fun, and friendly. Yeah, sometimes it's too much for a kid, but they aren't getting yelled at, they aren't getting thrown into a gauntlet, they aren't getting picked on. They're being pushed in a positive manner. Hanging around, it's clear how friendly the people attending the other classes are, as well, which just speaks to the vibe of the place. Plain and simple, when my son hits adult classes, I plan on attending with him.

I have learned so much and had so much fun. Casey Boyer is an excellent instructor and the Krav team is a very friendly and fun group. The Krav Maga classes have really hit the spot! Tonight we were parked in and instead of unloading my 3 young children I elected to call the number listed on the website. I called 6 times to no answer. The folks in the gym ended up helping me get it resolved-however I got a return call from the gym about an hour later. Where the gentleman on the phone was condescending and dismissive stating that having the phone not ring to the front desk has "worded for 10 years now". Parents with young kids I would find another gym to take your family. One that has better parking and better time for class offerings.

I have only been practicing a short time. There are some things that I am very educated on such as customer service, good people, and passionate individuals. This place checks all of those boxes. I was in the area for work and prior to my visit, I emailed the website asking about "drop ins". In probably an hour I received a very welcoming reply with the class schedule and asking about my abilities so I wouldn't be in over my head. BJ greeted me, showed me around, and got me set up for the Basics course that was taught by Tyler. Tyler did a great job describing the technical aspects of what he was teaching and got around to everyone making corrections. I learned a bunch. The facility is unreal. Very large, spotless, and well laid out. I hope that someday I can return. Pretty sure I forgot my mouthguard, but that's a small price to pay for a great experience.

My boys have been participating in the Gracie bully-proof program since last fall (2015)…read more Cameron(and Kane) are great with the kids. They seem to enjoy what they are doing. The kids are learning and having fun. The place is clean, parking is ample. The classes are small but large enough for all the kids to participate with a partner. What makes this program different from others is the kids are learning to protect themselves without hurting the bully unless they have to which keeps them from getting into trouble with the school. Freuently you'll see the bully and the child trying to defend themselves getting into trouble. That should not be the case here as the kids are learning to subdue and apply pressure (pain) as needed without causing unnecessary harm to the bully. The techniques work with any size. You will often see small kids paired up with.larger kids because size does not matter here. If you can subdue the bully and apply a little pressure on those sensitive spots you get get someone to leave you alone. I cannot speak on the adult classes , however I assume the apply the same the same techniques just more in depth. I have seen fake weapons so I believe he teaches them how to disarm someone if need be. It is also a little gentler on the body than other martial arts.
