The woman on the phone was very thorough and helpful. She made the transaction seamless (I wish I got her name). All my items were ready for pick up within 7 business days. Very impressed. I called to say I'd pick up within the hour of them letting me know they were available for pick up and they accommodated to that. I knocked on the door when I arrived and she double checked everything was correct in the bag and off I went! I can't express enough at how impressed I am with their customer service. They genuinely care and the sense of urgency is BIG with these guys. Where do I start to sing the praises of Michael Q and Oxygen Express? I needed two units for a road…read moretrip, and from start to finish, Michael's customer service was top notch and the equipment was clean and functioning well. Michael worked with me until I was comfortable with the tubing, settings and controls and also made a special trip to my home, around dinnertime no less, to bring me a new shoulder strap for the unit I had rented, just before I left town. When Oxygen Express says they are available 24/7, they mean it. I was leaving on a two-week road trip and had rented both a pulse-dose concentrator as well as a continuous-flow concentrator from Oxygen Express. I did have one snafu with the pulse-dose unit and called Michael late in the evening while I was on the road, and he answered promptly and walked me through what to do. We got the machine going again and I continued on my vacation without a hitch. Michael was great to work with, very compassionate, patient, and knowledgeable. Our wonderful nursing case managers at BID in Plymouth located Michael Quinlan and his business Oxygen Express, and put us in contact with him. He went out of his way to drive all the way from NH to Quincy, MA and met us so we could pick up the unit. Northshore Home Medical Supply offered a big selection, which was good because I'm a big guy, and she went in to talk to the staff. Joe showed her the options, then said that they also rent chairs, so I could try it at home for 30 or 60 days, or just rent it for the period I needed. After 30 days we knew that we wanted to buy the chair. Their price was better than other companies, and they credited the rental fee to the purchase price, making it a great value. 2 years later there was a problem with the chair, the back collapsed and the remote couldn't bring it up. Calling the manufacturer for what we thought was a 7 year warranty, ends up on certain parts were covered. They couldn't even offer a service call because they don't have a Boston service supplier. I called Northshore and described the issue, they had a service tech out that day to review the problem. He couldn't figure out the fix. Joe came out at 8 pm and within 15 minutes the chair was working like new, at no charge. This is an excellent local company. I would recommend them highly.
